I'm excited! A major match somewhat close to me! Not a few hour drive. Hopefully I can get registered!!! I couldn't seem to find a match fee anywhere...could someone fill me in on the damages??
I agree, there are a lot of heavier things you can cut weight with besides the upper/lower. However me and my buddy just ordered a handful of Mag Tactical lowers, when I get my hands on them I'll relay my review. I will also add that the reason we decided to try these lowers out is because we got them dirt cheap.
Well keep me posted! I'm also in the market for a trigger on my new competition gun I'm building. Not sure where to go, always only had mil spec triggers
Thinking about trying this trigger out, anyone ever use it? I've read a lot of people seem to like their more expensive trigger, but was looking to see if anyone has gambled on the $99 one they offer?
Interesting! I just started buying parts for my new dedicated 3 Gun rifle. Been looking at all kinds of barrels. This is definitely one I'm considering. I was shopping for an 18" for a longer gas system than my current carbine gas setup. But I'm not so sure it will be noticeable, my gun doesn't kick at all as it is.
It's a little weight, little money savings, and something I've never used, so why not get rid of it was my opinion. Plus, if I need to force my bolt to lock, something is possibly wrong, and it becomes a safety hazards to force it and keep firing
I've used an accuwedge for quite a while and it makes the upper and lower supper tight. I can barely get the takedown pin in and out its so tight. If the slip bothers you, otherwise I'd save the money on the billet receivers and spend it elsewhere. If it's a competition rifle I'd spend that extra couple hundred on a LMBCG and adjustable gas block. I'd also buy a high end barrel
