  1. Thread drift: Do you guys like the 10 rd limit in production?
  2. People would think i was REALLY nuts if i started running around in my backyard from box to box.
  3. I don't know how I would be able to remember where everything is.
  4. Rick, After 7 months on the SA plan (with my own twists on it) I have accomplished a couple things: 1. Beaten the crap out of my practice gun 2. Gained 10 lbs of muscle mass 3. Become a better shooter. 4. Suffered all sorts of minor cuts and stubbed toes from "practice accidents" Stick with it, with time and patience you will start to wear your guns out.
  5. I screw up in matches so much it isnt even funny... But take up golf!? I would rather suck at shooting than be a golfer.
  6. Now that LTT is gone, and the Beretta Pro shop is out of stock, where can I get E2 mag bumpers? Am I SOL?
  7. I don't see why this would not help upper level shooters... Somebody wanna fill me in?
  8. I had an IDPA match Saturday and Monday... Due to wet grass and being a moron, I managed to fall over, gun in hand, during a stage at both matches. I didn't 180, or sweep myself, but it was unnerving anyway. I have got some new shoes now, (nearly cleats) so I don't think it will happen again. But 2 falls in 2 matches has got to be some kind of record.
  9. I should set this one up and give it a go... looks like fun.
  10. My favorite part was when Anakin got BOTH his legs chopped off in one go. Then he got his arm cut off. Then he got lit on fire. I can not believe that it was PG-13.
  11. I think those sorts of lasers are used to attract midgets, IIRC.
  12. I think jerry should go for it.... why the hell not?
  13. Rick is right I think. A good training philosophy is to Practice what you can, when you can. However, when I "visualize" shooting when I am doing something else, It would be more accuratly described as daydreaming. haha
  14. I tend to set up components of stages. Just small things like moving to a barricade and shooting around it. In dry fire, I run 20+ rd stages. Its all part of the fun!
  15. I really hate it when people have the whole back of thier *%&*#ing car plastered with 26 different bumper stickers. It bugs the piss out of me. And they are usually really redundant. I don't need to see 6 stickers from the same political party on someones car to know who they support!
  16. How does that whole thing work anatomically speaking? I mean an egg doesn't have an..uhhh... nevermind.
  17. The farther I am from the targets, the more likly I am to see the front post lifting out of the notch. Up in close, I dont usually see it. As I develop I expect to see more, but I am a relative newcomer.
  18. what happened to Ol rhino anyway?
  19. Greenbean, It sounds like you may have gotten a "dud". I would give Kimber a call.
  20. Rock, When I am dry fireing, I do focus on mechanics. I get the "feel" for whatever technical things I am working on. Dry fire is different than live fire, and I treat it differently. Just relax, and focus on hitting your A's. Stick with your practice, you will get results.
  21. Dry fire has helped my transition speed quite a bit. What dry fire does is help you aquire the next target in your vision quickly and move your sights on to the aiming area with precision. You should give a greater expination of what you mean by "Double Tap". Are you aiming both shots, or just aiming the first one?
  22. "That may be your best post ever" I will second that.
