  1. Good to hear. Midway had it for $50 and blade tech comp mag holders for $10!
  2. This is what I'm wondering too. The trigger guard is significantly wider and rounded off. I'll let you know I just ordered one midway had it on sale along with some nice matching tak lok mag holders that should work.
  3. Has anyone had luck with a sti 2011 holster? I'm looking at the sti tactical full rail holster for my ria the trigger guards are different so im wondering if the retention would work.
  4. Just bought on Amazon also 500 for $17 from Woodberry brass.
  5. Not what I wanted to hear lol. But thanks a lot for checking.
  6. Ok darn I figured would have enough room with magwell. Not even close? Or do you think they may fit with some trimming or sanding?
  7. Do you have a model with or without factory magwell?
  8. After all this info and a few emails to the companies selling mags and being told they will work %100 with 9mm. for my 51947 I got 3 nickel p-18 17rd mags without basepad and got 4 +2 para extensions to go on them plus the stock mag. Was about $105 shipped for all from numrich. I plan on primarily running 9mm so these should work fine and are a different color so easy to know which of my mags is for tcm.
  9. The more I look the more I get confused about these mags. http://www.us.advancedtactical.com/shop/product-detail/2011-A-2-22TCM-9mm-mag-Mecgar-17rounds/ These say a2 only and my model 51947 at least says a2, where I can find it anyway it's not even on armscors website. Most of the tcm mags don't have the large of a baseplate but the capacity is the same. Wish this page gave a model number to look for them elsewhere.
  10. Interesting, is the above linked mag different then what comes in a Normal 9mm hi cap version? http://www.gunpartscorp.com/ad/1371120.htm Found these that sound like they will work With factory mags and are cheap.
  11. http://www.gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=97_152&products_id=1247&zenid=6eb2b3d38c9bb7926973a0f9c3d4a0ec Do these mags work %100 when using 9mm? And does anyone know if they have ribs that limit capacity like the tcm mag?
  12. I've been making .40 with autocomp lately have had no issues. I purchased csb-1 and csb-5 to use. Going to be loading 155gr 40 115gr 9mm mostly.
  13. I do have a chrono and good reloading equipment. No reloading or engineering erring background but learning as I go.
  14. Ok thanks I ordered the 51947 seems like a good deal to get the tactical model with both barrels! Now to figure out the best mags and pads. I'll see how yours works out.
  15. I'm wanting to get a hi cap 9mm/22 tcm. Want to have a magwell and extended mags. Looking at the 51947 model with the factory magwell and nicer grips or the 51680 for a little less $. Which is the better option long term to have reliable 20+ round mags?
  16. Thanks for the quick responses. Thats helpful if I can look at titegroup as a rough baseline. I've read a lot of the different posts they have good info I just don't know enough to turn it in to loads for different bullets.
  17. What mainstream powder that has lots of reloading data would be closest to maxam csb-5?
  18. I got the 28" +8 nordic tube, double oversize safety, stainless charge handle, still waiting on my barrel clamp, and polished the factory mag tube all done today. Shot a box of cheap shells no malfunctions im liking it.
  19. I just bought one of these and a few moa parts. Been doing a lot of reading in this thread and others. Have a question on the extension tube install. The instructions are not very clear, what goes on top of the spring ?do you use any of the parts from the factory tube? Or does the spring just sit against the new end cap?
  20. Thanks a lot for the suggestions. With the stock fiber optic front are there any good options for a rear sight without changing the front? I do like factory front.
  21. 9mm barrel would also need all new mags right? And cost a few hundred. It's not just the sights I don't like I think I'd do better with a 9 over the .40 If I do keep it What sights would you reccomend? I'd like them to be adjustable. Right now im having to to do a 12 o'clock hold which I don't like.
  22. I have a 5" m&p pro 40 with apex trigger, magwell, taylor freelance mag extensions. I'm new to competition shooting been doing some steel shots, ppc, wanting to get in to 3 gun and others. Goal is to have 1 do it all gun. My gun should fit the bill but I'm just not liking it, not a fan of the sights and am thinking of just replacing it instead of spending a lot on new sights. Been looking at switching to 9mm for cheaper and easier shooting tht would help in most disciplines but will limit me in others. Price limit is 7-800 max I'd like to sell the m&p and not have to spend a lot more. Main things im looking for is high capacity, easy quick mag changes safety operation, adjustable sights a big plus. Guns I've been looking but open to other suggestions. Cz p-09, 85 combat, sp-01 Eaa witness elite match. Xdm 5.25 Walther ppq m2 5" Ppx Any help would be appreciated.
