  1. I think I've decided on the Runcam 2. Basically an updated Mobius for the same price. In the video comparisons I've seen, it is nearly as good as the Go Pro Hero5 Session. Any recommendations on a good stiff hat to put it on? Preferably low crown/profile.
  2. Just anything other than the center of the A zone. Could be distracted by the recoil, front sight, next target, etc.
  3. I've noticed that the biggest thing slowing me down in transition is that my eyes get distracted instead of focusing exactly where I want them. Any tips other than just drilling it in during dry fire?
  4. Recommendations for head cams under $100?
  5. Too small. I'll just take the grip tape off and use chalk
  6. Well, I like to use grip tape. Bare xtreme grips are perfect, but they are a tad big with grip tape.
  7. Can anyone list the available grips in order from thinnest to largest? I currently have the Xtreme grips. Are there any smaller grips available?
  8. I don't think anyone has really addressed OP's question yet. On the benstoegerproshop website, there's 2 entries for seemingly the same part. Even lists the dimensions. Same width. Neither is extended. Both are single sided. I think it is just a mistake they made when putting it on the site. http://benstoegerproshop.com/eaa-tanfoglio-witness-standard-single-side-safety/ http://benstoegerproshop.com/eaa-tanfoglio-witness-single-side-safety-14-1/ Looking closer, there are some slight differences I can see with with grooves and an extra notch.
  9. Yea. Any estimate would be very rough. I've addressed all the surfaces you mentioned. I'm 100% with federal and 12# spring. CCI needs 14# though, and I've got 5000 of cci loaded. The difference is not something I'd be able to tell in a match situation, I just like knowing my gun is optimal. The funny thing is, there's not much difference in feel on these PD springs because of the lack of stacking.
  10. Send me a pin and I'll do some testing for you ;). I'm 60% with a 12# spring. 80% with 13#. 100% with 14#.
  11. Any estimate on how much you'd be able to drop the hammer spring weight with these vs the stock pin? Like if 14# was the lightest for 100% pops w/ the stock pin, would you expect 12# to work? 13#?
  12. Will do. What I got includes quite a bit of patriot defense parts btw :). Great stuff
  13. I didn't know what to call it. I meant the whole plunger assembly. In the pro shop it is just called the trigger bar spring though.
  14. Ok thanks. Sounds like neither part needs to be replaced.
  15. I was under the impression that many of the nonxtreme parts are only surface hardened and polishing them can result in a very weak metal contact.
  16. I've already got the bolo and titan. I've got a 5lb DA. Just wondering if the xtreme version is worth buying. I'm not looking to weaken the spring itself, I'm more asking if the plunger itself is worth it.
  17. Any point in getting these parts if I already have a polished trigger bar spring and a polished 1 piece sear? I'm assuming the xtreme parts would have a harder steel.
  18. I have 2 8# LS springs. Even between themselves there's a difference in thickness and length.
  19. Well, they say that if you put a LS spring in a standard gun it adds 2#. That is effectively the same, but it is backwards. A LS spring is just a normal spring of 2# more. So there's really no such thing as a long slide spring. And I'm very skeptical that a round number like 2# is very accurate or a good way to convert between slide lengths.
  20. That was me. That's what the employee at wolff told me he does.
  21. The xtreme firing pins are overpriced and I am done changing parts. I'm just going switch to federal primers. I'll just go back to the EG light hammer spring until I'm out of CCI. The PD spring is a lot nicer though. Henning needs to come out with a heavy firing pin option. Edit: Ended up trying out the stock pin and it was 100%.
  22. I was only getting ~50% with the EG Light pin spring, PD12 hammer, Titan, Henning Gen 5, and polished. That was with CCI though. I just put in the PD pin spring and polished it all again, we'll see.
  23. I load my FN bullets crazy short for my stock 3. Ive never had feeding issues or RTB issues. I dont remember the exact length, but well under 1.1". Around 1.05"
  24. So my fiance's condo has pretty dim lighting and I've been dry firing there a lot. It isn't enough to illuminate the fiber optic at all, so in fast transitions I'm seeing much less of the front sight. On closer targets it almost feels like I'm aiming by just pointing the rear notches at the A zone. Anyways, went to the range today and had multiple 100% el pres (prod) runs. I've never had a 95%+ run. I've always been accurate, but I've always been slow. Don't know if there's a takeaway here or not but a few things I'm thinking: 1) The lighting made me switch to more of a target focus, which sped me up 2) I was training in a 'harder' than normal condition 3) Just dumb luck
