  1. i did that and didnt like it, i tried the pad at match yesterday and thats what i want, i will get a plugr I see that u like that raise comb lol There is a guy here that had an extra one... Look this guy up Tyro Shooter
  2. Thanks for the info. I need to order a 4 & 4.5 # striker spring to try out with the 13# recoil spring then. The Zev Tech reduced power striker spring that I have that came with their Competition Spring Kit is listed as a 2#, so I don't think I wanna go that low & risk light primer strikes. The one in your kit that says 2.0# is about the same as a Wolff 4.0# spring and the 3.0# is about the same as a Wolff 4.5# spring. They are referring to the trigger pull using those springs when using the complete trigger kit. Oh ok cool. I'll give that one a try with the 13# then. Thanks! I just realized that we are running a similar setup! I just went tru 100 round of commercial 115gn, no failure! And both muzzle flip and felt recoiled was reduced. I am currently running: - Jager SS guide rod. - 13# ISMI. - ZEV Connector, Plunger and reduced Striker Spring. I like it!
  3. @ Travtastik: See you there. Stages look to be fun. Absolutely! What Sqd are you in? @ bagdrag: =) Thanks!
  4. Yup! =) Stage: Clearing House Went the wrong way, had rifle with muzzle pointed up, backed out, broke 180, DQ. RO, and other shooters didn't think it was unsafe, but I broke the 180 =(
  5. Not so good... I am shooting again tomorrow in TN... We shall see So you didn't have fun? DQ? DQ!
  6. Not so good... I am shooting again tomorrow in TN... We shall see
  7. I guess you are never really done getting stuff... Added a 12Q from IP and 2 DAA Racemaster Pouches Removed the EZ8, pending a 2.8 from IP
  8. YS, I keep an EZ8 on my belt as well....sometimes I miss a target....well, I miss a target often:) I think the EZ 8 is a good MatchSaver for me..... Actually... To make everything match I ordered a 2.8 from Kevin
  9. Thanks! I had a buddy thats literally JUMPED on the trade lol
  10. $25?! Man this thing looks awesome! http://www.doublealpha.biz/ipsc-holsters-rigs/pouches/hoppner-schumann-speedmag-5cw Anyone had any experience with these? I currently run the Blade Tech double pouch... Meh I wanna to able to rotate them around! Other pouch I am considering: - Double Alpha Magazine Pouch RACE MASTER... 60 bucks tho, and I need some special spacer to fit glock mags - Double Alpha SINGLE STACK Racer Magazine Pouch... 32 but same spacer problem - Blade-Tech Pro-Series Competition Single Mag Pouch... 40, but why when I can get it done with 25! What do you guys think? Any other viable options? Thanks!
  11. My thoughts exactly, if I won't see a whole lot of benefits and adding the potential for light strikes... It might not be worth it...
  12. Awesome! Cool all I need now is the extended striker! That's the striker spring I got from Zev Thanks guys! Now my remaining concern is safety... Am I compromising anything with: - TiN plunger with lighter spring - 13# ISMI - Zev lighten striker spring - Zev Race Connector - Jager Guide Rod I'll start using various factory load from 115 gr to 147 gr. Eventually I'll tune it more with reloads
  13. Good info! I started this thread because while doing my research I came across terms like "firing while out if battery"... Now that's not good lol. I forgot to mention that I also have the Zev plunger and I believe that it came with a reduced plunger spring. If I start getting light strikes I will get a new striker spring, reason is the 2# zev helps with the overall trigger pull. Now with your current setup what improvement or benefits are you getting out of it? I don't wanna be that guy that "upgrades" his gun just cause he can lol Thanks
  14. As some of you guys might know I have recently acquired a new G34 Gen 4. The gun is strictly a range / 3 gun pistol. Since I have no intention to use this as a self defense weapon I am messing around with all the component I can get my hands on! Just to see what like best Here is the inquiry with recoil springs, the objective is to decrease muzzle flip and have a softer percieved recoil. I order a Jager captured spring guide rod with a ISMI 13# to start with ( again I have not clue what I am getting my self into ) but from general consensus and previous shooter 13# seams to be the appropriate starting point. This 13# will be used in conjunction with a Zev reduced striker spring (2# I believe) as well as the Zev V4 connector. I understand that in order to really tune the gun I will need to start realoading my own 9mm. However with the current setup will I noticed any improvement using both 115 and 147 gr factory ammo? Is there any safety/reliability concerns? Thanks guys!
  15. Damn it... And I thought I was special! He did the same to me. Kevin, hat off to you! great CS!!!!
  16. The dot covered the 3" target pretty good (30%) at 100 yard, I would go with a 1 moa if I had to guess
  17. Riiiight... How the heck am I supposed to measure that?!
  18. @ Steve: what do you mean? @ Hayden: Yea I am facing the same problem... I got the MGM one... And it's crap at least for this lever. Can't get it tight enough, to much wiggling. I have one order the other one from Breakaway... We shall see. The one from PA is out of stock
  19. .220" did the trick! Perfect POI/POA and the sights lines up!
  20. UPDATE: DONE! for now... See you guys tomorrow in ATL!
