Yea... I messed around with the shim kit a bit and after some research the "C" is the one that suppose to drop the shot. I hit anything dead on if I do a 6 o'clock hold, but I am really trying to get away from that. Now, I have ordered the hiviz front sight, it's a little taller might drop the shot a bit. As far as it shooting left... It might be the Indian so to be safe I also got some hiviz rears. Once I get everything I'll play with the shim some more, also I am trying to get the raised comfortech comb but everyone is out of stock! Additionally I have contacted benelli and have been informed that if the gun with a full choke with some 7.5 do not shoot more then 5" high or low and 2" left or right at 25 yards is considered to be within tolerances. -
Alright, for those that have been following the saga the Benelli M2 is back online! Here is a little update since the last time: - Magazine is back and seated properly... Anyone in the ATL area looking for a real gunsmith go and talk to Bill Hayllar, he is the gunsmith for Chuck (downtown atl). His shop is located in Sandy Spring, AND HE IS THE MAN! A real gunsmith with real experience, for the past years or so I have been dealing with "dremel gunsmiths" that just had their pubes. - Taran Tactical Extended Bolt Release has also been installed, guys get it done by someone that knows whats going on, Bill was telling me horror stories with that particular mod Here she is! Now... On to my little hitting problem, this is a target that I shot at the range: Top right: Free hand, IM, 10 yrd, bead on target, fiocchi 1oz low recoil slug, Benelli shim: C-DX, CDX plate writing facing recoil pad. 1 Shot, about 1/2" high. Top left: Free hand, IM, 25 yrd, bead on target, fiocchi 1oz low recoil slug, Benelli shim: C-DX, CDX plate writing facing recoil pad. inconclusive the indian sucks at 25 yrd free hand lol. Center: Benched, IM, 25 yrd, bead on target, fiocchi 1oz low recoil slug, Benelli shim: C-DX, CDX plate writing facing recoil pad. 2 shots, 4" high, 3" left. Bottom left: Benched, IM, 25 yrd, bead on target, fiocchi 1oz low recoil slug, Benelli shim: C-DX, CDX plate writing facing recoil pad. 1 shots, 4" high, 3" left. Bottom right: Benched, IM, 25 yrd, bead on target, fiocchi 1oz low recoil slug, Benelli shim: C-DX, CDX plate writing facing recoil pad. 1 shots, 4" high, 2.5" left. Solutions? I think I can solve the shooting high problem with the hi viz compsight + the hi viz 2 dot rear. Should I be concerned about the shooting left problem? Is it the Indian? Or is the Fine Italian Bow screwed up?!

EZ8 caddy... Amazing!
YellowShooter replied to YellowShooter's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
It looks just like that ebay link. But I will send a pic of mine tonight I don't know why... upside down! -
I just got one in... And I am a total newbie. I couldn't believe how easy it was to get used to the quad load! I still need much practice to be competitive with it but after watching gunnersolutions video to see how to index the palm or my weak hand it was really consistent and really easy! Thumbs up for such a cool product! Only thing that worries me is how durable is the caddy gonna be, the construction is good, a few "welded"/glued kydex parts and some riveting but I wish it was welded metal. Time will tell

Benelli M2 DONE! Is this a defect?
YellowShooter replied to YellowShooter's topic in Shotgun - Technical
Damn it... Well I am having a local gunsmith to remove the magazine completely, clean the threads from both the receiver and the magazine, re screw with red loctite. That's should be good right? Benelli did tell me that if bushing is not 100% flush then I might damage the ring under the barrel -

Benelli M2 DONE! Is this a defect?

Cool thanks guys!!! Here is why I was a little concerned. The M2 was dead on POA/POI I did some mod to it (adding those that upgrade) And now it shoots high (3" at 10-15yrd). Now the only 2 things that could have this effect is: 1. The barrel clamp 2. When I tried that +5 extension... For some reason I tried to remove the factory magazine tube... Had a heat gun on and torqued it out a few threads out until I realized that I was an idiot! When I realized my mistake I got the heat gun out one more time and torqued it back down with a strap wrench, now the factory red loctite is probably in the way, I might still have an 1/8" gap between the receiver and the plastic bushing (item 16) Have I screwed things up? Do I have to get that magazine and bushing out, clean all old loctite out, re apply loctite and screw it back on? The POI shouldn't be affected if I remove the clamp... I don't know I am kinda lost lol -

So... Its normal out of the box? As long as it shots true I guess I can overlook this little oddity. -
Alright guys and gals! Here is the Yellow Shooter M2! Everything is here, but the Briley LM If I end up liking 3 Gun I will get the bolt and loading port mod. Now... After I installed the NC +5 I found that the extension is not parallel to the barrel is this normal?! And that regardless if I put the clamp on or not, as we get closer to the muzzle the extension and the barrel are getting narrower and narrower =( From what I can tell it appears that the extension is at a slight raised angle.

Thanks for the help guys... I am kinda picky on my gear... anything made in the USA? Kinda wanna support "local business" =)

I am sure you guys know what I am talking about! So what are you guys solution from house to car to firing lanes? That stupid M2 is over 42" long! I was hopping that everything will fit in my pelican 1700 but the shotty is too long, if I get a bigger pelican its not gonna fit my little car =( Current potential solution is the Drago 42" double gun case the M2 kinda fits and right behind it will be the AR. Only issue is i kinda don't like the quality of the Drago. Anyone got any suggestions for an alternative? Like a nice Made in the USA soft case? I really wish Larue had something for 3G, I fell in love with their MKII Covert case but it's definitely NOT gonna fit. Help? Thanks guys!
