Did you leave the bushing in the slide to get coated as well? Would you be able to share pics?

Anyone have their CZ Shadow redone in melonite or black nitride? If so who did the work?

I get those same marks at the bottom of the bullet. I'm wondering if it's something inside the case itself. Maybe the case has a shelf of something that marks up the bottom of the bullet seating it that deep.

Dawson +300 base pads work good on glock mags. Secured the same way as the stock Glock base pads just easier to remove. Dawson's fit the box with fixed rear sight. If using adjustable rear sights make sure it's under 6" from top of rear sight to bottom of base pad with the mag inserted into the gun. Springer Precision makes base pads too.

Only issue I had was the flexing of the holster when drawing the gun which is why I switched to the boss hanger. If it doesn't bother you then stick with the DOH. You will probably encounter some anal retentive person telling you it's illegal but hey since you are just starting off just run it. If you start whooping ass then people will make a big issue about the 2".

Maybe add a Sear spring too, would hate to pay $7 shipping for a $2-$3 part Add extra of the springs you are ordering too.

Yes weight of bullet is part of the PF calculation. Weigh a sample of your bullets to get an average.

The profile of the shoulder on each type. RN weighs about 150 and FN about 146.

Does it work on the outside of the slide to seal the bluing from humidity? Does polymerization seal the blue from humidity?

There are a lot more friendly people with good advice than there are angry people who think they state the obvious. The best gun for you is something you like and feel comfortable with or hell in some guys cases it's how fancy the gun looks. Try diff makes and models to see what feels good. Beware that it may be time consuming to find the unicorn gun that fits you perfect. everyone will give you a biased opinion so take it with a grain of salt but listen to what they have to say.
