  1. Yeah, I am sure it is the cross-over eliment that made the discision.
  2. I am tired, whatta expect! For now I will stick with what I got instead of downgrading to a Mac.
  3. So.... you bought a MAC then Actually no Jay, this morning there are no alerts. I guess this is one of those times when things work themselves out.
  4. OK- cool AVG it is. I will have to download and install it after work.
  5. This problem just started last night for me. This is what I am running: Trend Micro AntiVirus plus AntiSpyware Program Version: 16.10.1182 Engine Version: 8.900.1001 Pattern Version: 5.521.50
  6. I am getting a ton of anti-virus alerts only while surfing on this forum. Is anyone else noticing this or have and ideas about a solution? The program that is tagging these files is Trend Micro AntiVirus software.
  7. When my motor died in my CV-500 it was doing the same thing, kind of a surging speed. Anyway I sent it back and they replaced the motor and charged me for the part, labor and shipping. I found out later that the old company that used to build them stopped making that particular size motor and Dillon was forced to go to another supplier/manufacturer. I think the new manufacturer is using lower grade parts. When mine dies again, I will upgrade to the big boy.
  8. Looks like an Eagle with a few lightening cuts.
  9. Yeah work on speeding up your movement. Getting in and out of positions with conviction. And RIP that gun from the holster. You seem to be shooting well, just practice speeding up the non-shooting stuff. Oh and keep the gun up high when you are moving.
  10. Good advice Jim. I would like to add that speed comes from economy of motion. Eliminate all the wasted motion. Work the draws and reloads in dryfire, ALOT. That is how I got better. Tons and tons of dryfire. Now I am using airsoft much more than dryfire. Those bb's keep you honest with what you saw in the sights. Jim hit the nail on the head with your target transitions. That is where you will gain the speed while shooting most, not your shot splits. Work on indexing from target to target quicker than your shot splits. I am working transitions on plates with my airsoft gun and can see improvement. Get to the shooting as fast as possible then take the time needed to shoot A's. The good news is you will get there, but you got to put in the time and sweat in training. Again good luck and be safe.
  11. You might look into a Marvel conversion as well. Price comparison may be in order. STI sells them for about 1/2 the cost of a Tactical Solutions kit.
  12. Sorry for commenting on my observation about the RO'ing. Being off balance is what I saw as well, as I mentioned earlier. I would work on that. Practice movement drills and coming into positions or into a box with a correct stance. As far as your shot calling and using your sight as a speedometer, that just takes practice varifying your sight picture before you squeeze the trigger and seeing the sight alignment's relationship to the target is as the hammer falls. This can be practiced everytime you shoot in dryfire and livefire. No specific drill is required to work on those skills. But shooting groups comes to mind as a good way to isolate it.
  13. Not to mention looking and talking to someone behind himself taking his eyes off the shooter as a whole several times...sorry, didn't mean to point fingers.
  14. I setup the stuff I had trouble with the day after the match and shot it until I had it down. The gun being off 3 to the left at 15yds didn't help. There ya go bro, that makes all the difference in the world. Remember that IL match we shot, gosh, two years ago? I had to put a new sight in at the last minute and didn't have a chance to get it sighted in properly and had some of the same fate. Didn't finish as well as you did though! I won't make that mistake again.
  15. As would we all! Enjoy your victory, you earned it, then get to work on what you had trouble with at the match!
  16. I would echo the comments about the points. One thing I noticed was your lack of a platform in most of your shooting. You seem to be in a poor stance unnecessarily most of the time. Feet close together and you seem to have a weird habit of having one foot propped up on your toes even with shots right in front of you. Develope a better stance and you will improve your shot to shot consistancy and the ability to move quicker. Try to keep you feet under your shoulders and balanced as much as possible. Watch top shooters like Travis Tomasie and Max Michel. They are some of the most technical shooters out there. Speaking of Ben- heck yeah, squad with him when you can. You will learn a ton watching him shoot and talking with him. Hope this helps, keep up the good work!
  17. If you ain't sweaten, you ain't working hard enough!
  18. Yup- that is what I am using. Smaller than the TechWell, but works good.
