  1. I'd prefer the more compact nature of a drum over having a walking stick hanging out of the magwell. Me personally.
  2. If Magpul made a D60 for the Glock platform, I'd buy a couple.
  3. Under 26" would be considered an AOW. More: https://johnpierceesq.com/can-you-add-a-vertical-fore-grip-to-an-ar-pistol/
  4. If the pistol is over 26" OAL, he's likely okay.
  5. I posted that picture in an edit to my original post, not sure why it didn't post. I think it's a mistake on the part of whoever posted that picture to their website.
  6. From what I've seen, they have a gas block journal at the Carbine length, no port. Evidently there's a demand somewhere for 9mm to wear a gas block and gas tube for aesthetic purposes. Several companies are putting barrels out this way for some stupid reason.
  7. 18" Nordic barrel with rifle-length gas, fixed gas block, JP LMOS bcg, JP light rifle buffer (red) and JP extra power rifle length buffer spring. I've run it for 4 years, it's boringly reliable. I run a Lantac brake, which could be improved upon with something like an SJC or Rolling Thunder comp.
  8. Great, thanks for checking. This opens up options
  9. Thanks. ETS mags' basepads are interchangeable with OEM Glock, so I don't see why they wouldn't work.
  10. Sorry for the mistake, they were 2lbs 8oz and 2lb 6oz, respectively. Thanks for catching that. ETA: the pull weight could be reduced a little further by sliding the trigger pad down to the last notch (Hiperfire claims 2lbs), but it has the slightest creep. I went with the second notch up to take out the perceived creep.
  11. Want. I'll be keeping an eye out for this one.
  12. $200 is a good rule of thumb for a trigger. There are a lot of great sub-$200 triggers. Not much at the sub-$150 price point.
  13. I got my 24Cs installed yesterday evening and I think I have a new favorite trigger. I took the PCC out and ran 3 mags through it without issue. Both triggers are very consistent, I set them up with the heaviest hammer assist springs for the lightest pull, and set the pad on the second notch from bottom to get the lowest trigger pull weight along with minimal creep, and my PCC yields a 2.8oz trigger pull while my .223 yields a 2.6oz trigger pull, as measured with a Lyman digital gauge. The variation on both was +/-0.2oz. I did notice slightly more creep in my PCC than the one in my .223, which may or may not be variances in the lower, as both are NFA billet lowers. I might swap the triggers around and see if that makes a difference. My only beef with the trigger is the mold flashing down the middle of the polymer trigger pad. One extra step during manufacturing to remove that would be great. Guess I'll whip out the dremel this weekend and see what I can't tear up.
  14. The new receivers look pretty sharp, it's a shame they didn't update the handguard as well.
  15. I don't see the value in the interchangeable magwell for the end user, especially when the magwells cost as much as a stripped lower. I could see the novelty having some use in departments where officers are allowed to carry from a list of sidearms, the carbine could be configured to match their sidearm. The fact that a $1600 rifle has what appears to be a mil-spec trigger, at this price point, is unacceptable. Also, for competition shooters being the target buyer, there's no muzzle brake. I love Nordic. I have a couple of their .223 barrels. All my shotguns sport their parts. I get that something had to be offered that set their product apart from the herd, I just don't think the novelty that is the interchangeable magwell is worth the scratch. I'd rather the money spent on R&D of the magwell had been spent on a decent trigger and brake, ala JP, instead of a function that won't be used by most end users.
  16. Good to hear. I got blocked on my 24c goodness by the weather yesterday. Ice storm kept the USPS truck from making it to my rural post office in time to get delivery out yesterday morning. Now, with MLK, it'll be Tuesday before I can put hands on one for myself.
  17. I'm definitely going to have a learning curve, I use a Geissele Hi-Speed National Match in my main 3-Gun, and will be installing the 24c in it and my PCC, as most of the matches I shoot any more are bay-type matches.
  18. NP. Funny what one can find late at night on the internet. I read a lot of issues with AR/SR Gold in a PCC, so I went with the Hiperfire.
  19. Thanks for the reply, I'll keep your results in mind when working up loads this weekend. I'll sneak out to the range today with my PCC and some of my G34 loads to see how it runs. I'll put some factory AE 124 and 147s through it for somewhat of a break-in first.
  20. I just tried the discount code and it worked. The code is RAD35D. It worked on the 24c and 243g
  21. Just curious: do you like 124gr better than 147? I just finished building my PCC and will be working up some loads. I have 124gr FMJ on hand and some 147gr plated RN Berry's that I was going to try. I use 124gr FMJ with 3.6gr of TG in my G34 for 3-gun, I'll try those first to see how they work in the carbine. I might order some 165gr X-tremes to try as well.
