  1. You ever tried coated bullets? Precision Bullets has some kind of Moly coating that leaves no leading in my barrels. I like their 185 grain RNF's for .40 and 10mm. http://www.precisionbullets.com/
  2. I use Precision Bullets 185 grain RNF's for both .40 cal and 10mm. My guns seem to like them too. And his prices include the shipping. Top target is .40 cal with a SIG P229. Bottom target is 10mm with a Dan Wesson Razorback RZ-10 10mm. http://www.precisionbullets.com/store/
  3. Yeah, what he said. First target here was using their 185 grain bullet and a SIG P229. Second target is the same bullet in a Dan Wesson 10mm. And his prices include the shipping.
  4. I'm starting to like Blue Dot for both .40 and 10mm.
  5. Nah, but if I run out of bullets I can pistol whip the guy out of knife range!

    I Don't Care

Here it is wearing it's Crimson Trace Laser Grips.
  7. Only custom gun I ever had made was a Fusion Firearms long slide Hunter in 10mm.
  8. I only bother if I make a brass trade or scarf up some free range brass where I do not know what gun shot them from. My SIG P229 is fully supported and doesn't bulge the brass out at the bottom. (Unlike a Glock) The nice part is the Redding GR-x dies will fully resize .40 cal S&W, 10mm, and 357 SIG and I have guns to shoot them all.
  9. I'm partial to my Fusion Firearms long slide 10mm. Took about three months.
  10. I kind of like my SIG P229. Here's a target using the .40 cal barrel. (Also have the 357 SIG barrel)

    I Don't Care

That CZ bought Dan Wesson. Here's why. Dan Wesson RZ-10 Razorback at 21 feet using my favorite 10mm reloads.
  12. And my latest two toys. First 5 shots in the 15" barrel assembly.
  13. I'm a thinking a Harbor Freight cement mixer would be a lot cheaper. I don't process THAT much brass to need one. My 15 pound drum is plenty big enough for my needs.

    SWEET!

Just got a new EWK 8" barrel shroud with a built on rail for my Dan Wesson 15=2 .357 mag pistol pack. Put on a 2X7 long eye relief pistol scope. Could not seem to find any no drill and tap scope mounts for it, so I went this route. So now I have 2 8" barrel shrouds, one scoped, and one non scoped.
  15. I've been shooting Precision Bullets for years. Yeah, they leave a black coating in the barrel which is easily removed, but absolutely no lead.
  16. My CZ82 target, only I was firing at 21 feet.
  17. Not true, I just got a 2 pound "refresher" bag from STM '>http://www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com/stainless-tumbling-media-refresh.html
  18. If you use a media separator like the Dillon in the photo above, not only does it separate the stainless pellets, but also slings off most of the water. I dry my cases in the basement (usually not sunny here), laying on a beach towel with a fan blowing air over them. Usually takes a couple hours to dry several thousand cases. Moisture in the case hasn't been a problem. I use a towel, and a little portable space heater. Mama would KILL me if she saw cases in the oven!
  19. I just got a Thumler's Model B tumbler. Here's what that, stainless steel media, water, Dawn Dishwashing detergent, and a teaspoon of Lemi-Shine can do. Before: After:
  20. Let's just say I find Glocks grips at a strange angle, and they do not seem to make one single model 10mm or .45 I can get my small, short fingered hand around. I've fire Glock 9mm's that I can get my hand around their double column grips, but once again the grip angle just feels downright wrong to me. I realize I'm not special and everybody should be like me. As a matter of fact....I would shudder at the thought of a world of me wannabes!
  21. Anybody who wants to convert a 10mm to a 9 should be SHOT! I love both my 10mm's better than my 9mm.
  22. Finally got my custom built Fusion Firearms 10mm long slide Hunter. I LIKE the way it looks and feels. Why anybody would choose a Glock over a 1911 is just beyond me.
  23. Well, small rifle primers may have harder cups, and could cause you misfires. As you are using it for competition, I would NOT do it. And if your recipes are anywhere near a maximum load, that would be another reason not to do it.
  24. All depends on what you want. You want plenty of fast made plinking ammo....get a progressive press. You want very high accuracy ammo...use a single stage. Or get a semi-compromise and get an auto indexing turret press. I personally just use a Lee Challenger single stage press, as I like to be in control of all the steps. But I keep eyeballing that turret.......
