  1. All this stuff seems way to complicated and a time waster. I'll just get the Dillon and have more time for reloading or shooting.
  2. Thanks that was the video I was looking for. For some reason I could not get it from googol. But thanks again.
  3. Some of us don't have the 1050. I chose the 650 for the warranty. The video above is not what I was looking for. There's another out there but I can't find it even with a google search.
  4. The 2utube videos are not what I want to do. Saw or read about one that the spring was underneath the swage. Anybody...I'm surprised dillon has not done an upgrade to it.
  5. I'm really confused now after watching 30 utube sand reading about 50 posts on prepping 223. I have a Dillon 650. I don't mind buying what I need to make it easiest to do. I have an unused Dillon super swage. I'm confused with the correct steps to do this. Do you set up a separate tool head with the trimmer and decamper then clean and polish, then debur and clean out the primer pocket? What do I use to do that? Thanks for helping a newbie out.
  6. I like the idea of sending it out. Anyone know where to do this? Thanks
  7. I have the 650 and I'll have to do some lookin but I've got the super sewage. Just not sure how to take a fired picked up round and make it usuable for reload.
  8. What is the easiest way and equipment needed to clean and trim and such for military brass before reloading. I've seen some good reviews of the RCBS machine but not real sure how to use it and is it necessary. I have a 650
  9. Just talked to someone at Dillon. They recommend running your reloaded brass bullets in the tumbler for around 15 minutes. He also said corncob was the best media to use. It's from the horses mouth so that's what I'll be doing.
  10. Just wondering, after cleaning and polishing empty cases and reloading a bunch. What is the best way to get rid of any case lube left over? Do you just tumble it? Also which is best and what's the difference between walnut and corncob media? Thanks
  11. Yes please advise us which spring you had to replace. Thanks
  12. Why do some of you like the balance beam over an electronic scale? I had both and re weighed some powder loaded cases but never got a different scale reading so for ease and time I now only use the electronic scale.
  13. I re read this thread and could not find the comment about getting rid of an electronic scale for a balance beam scale. What's the problem? Thanks
  14. Grab it fast. That's a good deal and don't forget warranted forever
  15. I'm sharing a spare bedroom upstairs. Temp is never a problem. My wife does her craft work one one side of the room. I get the rest. It's not bad. Wish I had some space to store 20,000+ rounds and get that heavy shelf out of the room. An outside room would be nice but it would need to be insulated good as here in Oregon the temp. Can vary greatly from noon till midnight. I have forced air and heat so can't tap into that. What would work?
  16. That's what happens when you have such a great company. I've got stuck on the 20-30 min. Hold time, but each time they got me fixed or sent out a new part. For a lifetime warranty I'll take the hold time. Also using email I've always got a same day response
