  1. You wouldn't wanna start sponsoring a handicap team ? Nvshooter and I would be your men :-)
  2. Thanks again for all the responses. The versamax should be here any day now.. I'm liking at the carbon arms extension .. the one were it will let you hold eleven in the tube. Anybody have a pic with that one on? Curious to how far it will be out past the barrel.. I'm clumsy enough.. also looking at the Rci extension too cause it's cheaper..
  3. Congrats! Thanks ! I'm excited ! The last sentence in my last post was supposed to say what size extension do I need to get 11 in the tube ? Stupid Swype keyboard outsmart s me sometime
  4. Well sold my mossberg to what sounds like a great home. And then I did something really naughty.. so naughty that I had to hide it from my wife.. for her safety.. I ordered my versamax. I wish it could go to Benny but that s to much to swing right now. Now to accessorize. That carbon arms tube is tempting. What dizzy do indeed top hold eleven plus one
  5. A lot of oils have detergents on them to clean.. pretty much all motor oil has detergents to clean the carbon out
  6. GlockTalk. Oh ok thank you ! I'm gonna give this forum some more time then I will try those forums.
  7. No not yet. I have a local forum I use but I figured this is where fellow 3 gunners seem to congregate so id post it here. What's GT? Not familiar with that one
  8. I appreciate all the responses. Thank you guys. So far it seem s versamax has an edge.. my friends shotgun (nvshooter) did feel great to cheek although I didn't care for all the rainbow stickers he added. I wish I could afford the versamax from Benny Hill. Great stuff but I'll have to do the add ons myself. If I could only sell me mossberg 930 jm.
  9. My friend and I both bought one from Omar. Great price and great customer service ! I'd do it again in a heart beat
  10. I spit on it and call it a dirty AR
  11. I'm eyeing both of these and having a hard time deciding.. I figured my best bet was to turn to you guys. I've held both and both feel great. I've never shot either and don't know when I'd get to. Seems like the Beretta is great out of the box and the versamax needs some work to make it ideal. I'm looking at the beretta 21" 1301 And the versamax 22" tactical... I've been shooting a mossberg 930 jm. Any input ?
  12. So far I've used my pmag with the extension in 3 matches and several practices and I haven't experienced any problems. Are these reloads? Have you tried same ammo in a different mag ?
  13. I didn't need to clock my rolling thunder after following Jesse's how to. Just went up in drill sizes till I saw minimal muzzle climb vertically and horizontally.
  14. I appreciate the heads up.. The plates I was talking about are for the stand but obviously that will get shot too. The steel I do shot at is all AR500 that I get from a company here locally.
  15. This is awesome ! I have a little cricket rifle for my daughter that I wanna make nice for her. The pink hello kitty it is ! To bad it's so expensive but I guess not to bad
  16. I thought you want to hold the compensator right in your Palm? That way I know my gun gas a bullet come out.. jeez! Good catch . I'm curious to what would have happened if you didn't catch that? That's pretty bad
  17. I made some stands out of some stakes from Lowe's. They ran about 4-6 a stake depending on length. The welded some 3"x3" plates that lowes also sells. I think they called them ball bearing plates. They were super cheap too. Like $1 per plate.
  18. Ditto in the market for a timer . I had been reading the first couple of pages to this thread and realized it was 13 years old ! Preferably thru Amazon because I got gift cards from Xmas and birthday.
  19. I've never looked thru a prismatic scope , is the clarity that good or is it better in some other way ?
  20. Why would you go with the mid length gas ? I thought rifle length would always be the way to go if you can ? Is it a reliability issue?
  21. That app is great. It even has the subtensions of up close shots .would by it again in a heart beat
  22. What mpeltier says.. works great for me. I use the magpul bad lever and works perfect. Any problem mags or empties can be switched quickly. Not that the normal bolt release isn't but in a game of shaving seconds or minutes in my case it works for me
  23. I haven't had both but I came from a Vltor a5 system to the silent captured spring. It's really quite , and I can't seem to find anything that would work better.. if you can afford one buy it. You won't regret it
