  1. Do you know if the Q100 model will be offered in 10mm down the road? I'm not a striker fired fan, but people have asked.
  2. Yea! Go for the slide release area as much as possible and maybe we can pick up something.
  3. Any chance you can set up a cell phone to video or have someone with you who can while running it?
  4. Perfect! Now it's something else and how do the magazine followers look?
  5. We received a second range visit yesterday stating the magazine drops weren't there this time out. Maybe a break-in thing or shooter getting familiar thing? Several of these pistols out there to only have one reporting individual. I want to see someone put a 200-220gr Hardcast through one and report back. That's a real test!
  6. I run a 22lb in my 4.75" and 20lb in my 6". It's been a proven 100% combo for me over the years. How deep did you make the spring groove in the slide stop? If you ever see it pop out some, make that baby deeper to rule that out. If one of them ever doesn't go 100% I change the recoil spring out and the problem goes away. I went yesterday and fired off a bunch in mine and they were both 100% as usual. I think my redone Hunter is coming up on 8 years old and has only had the recoil springs swapped. It has all original everything including JB Welded two-piece guide rod and I have set some bombs off in it (don't tell EAA )
  7. I wonder if someone could send a Super Sight and have them copy the fit for our pistols? http://www.infinityfirearms.com/1101.php?indx=16
  8. Their are at least a couple of us here shooting extreme 10mm rounds (I have thousands of rounds) and have never changed a single thing other than recoil springs. Something wacky going on!
  9. You read about this every so often and tons of these pistols out there. It's something very stupid I bet! Your spring isn't broke or out of whack is it? I would rather take a swift kick to the jewels than send anything back to EAA unless it's last resort!
  10. Same here and I have three different models of EAA 10's. I'm really thinking you are activating it somehow. You can inspect your followers and see if that shows anything funky.
  11. Sounds right. EAA is usually two for $50 or: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/3029416807/eaa-magazine-witness-large-frame-10mm-auto-steel-blue
  12. The old ones have issues swelling loaded to full capacity. The new ones won't have that issue.
  13. You need to pull the stop out and file the groove the spring sits in deeper. In 10mm it has more recoil induced issues and this can be one. Try it again after making the groove deep enough to retain the stop firmly.
  14. It won't hold. The sight is wore out and have you had any issue with the slide stop pushing out?
  15. Okay... first one from SavageOne: OK, I got to the range and shot the GP and all I can say is...OMG, OMG, OMG[insert girly scream here]. It is an amazing firearm and I love everything about it, except one thing which may make it useless as a firearm. First the range report. I fired a variety of ammo today, PPU 180gr HP, Winchester 175gr Silvertip, Buffalo Barnes 155gr TAC-XP, Sig 180gr FMJ, and my own load of a 180gr FP sitting over 9.2gr of 800x. The PPUs felt like a 9mm. I had a least 3 FTFs with them, it seem like the light ammo might not always have enough oomph to cycle the slide fully. The brass from the PPUs was usually at my feet or no more than two steps away at a 3:30 to 4:00 position. The Winchester Silvertip cycled great and felt like a 9mm +P. At 12yds I had a beautiful mushroom cap of about 2 inches. The brass was 5-8 feet away at about the 4:00 to 5:00 position. The Barnes had a noticeable, but very controllable kick to it and honestly was surprisingly pleasant to shoot. The brass was at the same position as the Silvertip but a around the 10-12 foot mark. The Sig felt like it had the strongest recoil of all the ammo( but that could be because I shot it after having run through a box of 45 ACP), but was still very manageable and fun to shoot. My handrolls seemed to similar to the Silvertips in recoil and more similar to the Barnes in brass location. Very fun to shoot and manageable. The fact that I was able to police over 90% of my brass blows my mind. With my EAA and RIA the brass is tossed 20-30 feet and I am lucky to find 50% of it. This is a great shooting gun and the few FTFs seem to be more ammo than firearm. I had no problems with my Handrolls except 1 and it may be YUGE. I don't know if it was me hitting the right side mag release or just the mag being somehow released by the recoil but I had quite a few instances where I fired the gun and the mag fell to the ground. In fact, on at least two occasions this happened 3 times in a row. I thought at first I might be easy gripping or limp wristing the gun and the recoil was slapping my hand into the mag release, but I tighten my grip and opened my fingers( to get them away from the mag release ) and it still occurred. It happened with my Handrolls and the Silvertips. I didn't shoot enough of the Barnes in a row to be able to see if happened with them. It did not ever happen with the light PPU loads. So, at this point I don't know if it is me or the gun that's dropping mags with stronger loads. Until we can get some other range reports from people and see if they have a similar problem I can't say that this is a reliable gun or if I am an unreliable shooter. Hope this helps Cheers
  16. If they prove out by design features I would swap all four of mine over. I think they could get the sales!
  17. Help me pester Henning to get his adjustable machined up.
  18. Your only option might be to just go easy on it. That's kind of what I learned on the GP.
  19. My Grand Power will do that too if I'm agressive with it. Maybe my Tanfoglios would too, never tried though.
  20. I see you found the other area for good Tanfoglio info
  21. Robert, Did you see my update about the P40L 10mm announcement?
