I made my own version of it and it's my favorite! I don't have the slide cuts, tend to favor my base pads better and the chrome job the guys did is noticebly better than factory.

I really wish Henning would make slides and a damn better adjustable sight!

Pinch a Latex/Nitrile glove between the wrench and screw. The other option is using a Torx that can be tapped into the opening.

Nealio, I haven't tried filing the extractor yet. That will be my next try and use nothing but Federal ammo.

I will check some more. I wonder what I can do to get the extractor to clip in forward more?

I polished on the feed ramp and barrel before this last time out and still not thrilled. It seems I get some strikes about every magazine that won't fire. I'm also finding at times (more than I like), it will fail to extract the brass. I can drop the magazine on an un-fired light strike and it won't extract it. It's like it really needs to come forward some and for the extractor to go in behind the brass rim... but doesn't. When I went to try it on my Limited I found out the magazine won't clip in due to the magwell. Since my Ruger MIII eats everything, I don't think this thing should be finicky to one perfect ammo! Any suggestions?

Yesterday was all Golden Bullet Remington.

Second time was better, but still some problems: - Some rounds aren't firing. The strike looks pretty okay. - Sometimes I get FTE - Feeding doesn't seem to be 100%

I ran a couple searches and couldn't find the .22 fixes.

I ran it on my Limited Pro which has the stock hammer spring, etc... I think the hotter ammo for sure will help. When the slide goes back it gets catchy at the end of the travel. Maybe it needs a heavier recoil spring to move it forward better?

It ran like crap! I mainly shot Winchester M-22 and they have given issues in other pistols. I had about 30 rounds of Remington Golden Bullets and they seemed okay. It looked like the primer strikes were not all that great and the extractor wasn't clamping on like it should. Any suggestions?

What are the big differences between this one and other models?

This one has fallen behind... time for a parts check! Who has a 9mm upper for a Pro or Limited? I guess it could be one of the standard longslides and still fit the Pro as well. Also still in search of a .45 Hunter upper and large frame .22 kit... PM me.

My fix is still holding strong. When Henning's new piece is ready I will swap it in.
