  1. Happy Birthday Jeff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From our family to yours Dan & Elaine
  2. last night we were downstairs where I was cutting my hair with the trimmer. I am almost done and she says "you should trim your eyebrows. Do you want me to trim them?" I take the trimmers and without really thinking too much give the brow a #1 trim! She busts out laughing! "I can't belive you did that!" Now she has tears running down her face she is laughing so hard. I trimmed the other brow so at least they match. A little short but I won't have to trim them for a while. I have'nt heard her laugh like that in a some time. Maybe we need to laugh more often. I realized last night I miss the sound of her laugh.

  5. Thank your son for a job well done! If he set it up, ran it, and put it away he did a good job! Every job has a few bumps to it --- it's how you handle them that counts Hopefully this will encourge others to step up. It is a great experience; really Dan C

  8. Elaine is shooting the round gun now and is waffling on A-8. You can talk to her tomorrow about taking on that Walsh fellow! She has been married to me for a while so Cliffs "bringing the pain" may have little effect on her. She says I am the biggest pain she knows
  9. anyone got a starting point for Montana Gold 124gr JHP using VV 320. The MG bullet has a channelure so seating long won't work. The VV book lists 4.4 max for a Hornady JHP but the oal is way longer than the bullet I am going to be using I have been using 4.2gr for remington 124's but tha MG bullet is seated deeper. I need to find a starting point for working up to a 135PF in a G17 .... 4.1 or 4.0?? Thanks Dan C

    G17 or 17RTF

Do you like your RTF and would you recomend it? I am looking at getting a G17 and am looking at the RTF. Is the finish/grip worth having or is a std 17 with grip tape just as good? I must admit I dig the slide cuts! Thanks Dan C
  11. started getting mail from them and have not heard of them. Are they legit? what do you know of them? Thanks Dan C
  12. I think that during set up is a GREAT time to point out problems with stages. I also think pointing out problems on match day politely and shooting the stage as well as you can goes farther than being a "range lawyer". One of the great joys in this sport is designing, constructing and having 40-50 people shoot your designed stage! More shooters should try it. Dan C
  13. My co-workers and I have been using Sta-bil in boats, bikes,ATV's and small engines. Some have gone to the newer Sta-bil marine additive. I saw a new brand called Starlon yesterday and the shop said it is far better than Sta-bil. I wonder What additives do YOU use in your bike, boat, small engine both 2 stroke and 4 cycle? Thanks Dan C
  14. Thanks to the many people who put in a lot of time and work on this match! Thank you They make it look easy!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again, THANK YOU Dan & Elaine C
