  1. Hey guys, Thanks for replying. I have a comp-tac for my P7M13, and was quite impressed with their customer service and the holster, but unfortunately, due to the holster's hi-ride, and the p7's weight being concentrated on the grip and magazine housing, the holster tends to lean to the right side(I am right)no matter what belt I use. BladeTech have been most helpful, they've already told me, that I get a refund if it doesn't fit when I return the holster. Up until now, I've been using Wilson's Adjuster and was quite pleased, but I'm looking for some retention options if possible. I guess I'll have to test some holsters out there....
  2. Anyone using any concealment holster with their STI's? According to what I've read in their site('Will fit' section), there are 3-or actually 2...models for STI/SVI - 1911 with rails(56), 1911 without rails(53), and STI Tactical(similar model to the 1911 with rails=53). Does anyone have any idea what a 2011 standard 5", with full dust covers, fits? Cheers!
  3. That's the RHT-Rescomp(CR SPeed)mount.
  4. WIcked Care to share some images???
  5. Accurate sighting = zeroing optical sights
  6. I used the Sphinx Modified mounting design as an example, which is even closer to the hybrid holes. The image is attached. 've already had gigantic issues with other C-More mounts so I took no risks - in order to fit in the box, they've had to be placed above the first hybrid hole, and if it wasn't stainless steel, it was eaten away and eventually fell apart. As for the ejection port, my extractor is tuned to 'spit' the brass to the right side without touching the mount.
  7. What's the most decent shooting rest you've ever used? MTM? Caldwell? I want one.
  8. Hi, The docter was never intended to be placed on the slide. The original slide was supposed to have a docter plate on it, but I requested a C-More straight from the factory. Only afterwards, I've decided I want a docter, so I made this mount. I haven't 'invented any new config'/design, took several other Docter sight mounts that were out there and combined them together. The most influential mount, was the RHT(Rescomp-CR Speed)piece. That's about it...

Made a new docter mount...7075. Finally...the search is over. New Docter Mount
  10. Hey people, Received the mount last Friday....7075 Aircraft grade aluminum. Tested the blaster today, and was very impressed with the work done. *Was made for the Docter Gen.IV red dot sight - New Mount
  11. FM, I use slide ride with a custom stainless steel mount. Wide - EDM'd??? Wish I could use Titanium or Carbon....but it's quite expensive.
  12. Hi Guys, I know STI are making their mounts from 7075. Hell...I've made one from Stainless steel, so I guess 7075 isn't that bad? I was also thinking of Carbon.
  13. Hi eveyrone, Was wondering if you know what type of aircraft aluminum is used for scope mounts??? Cheers!
  14. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?...8&hl=docter Also, if there's anyone out there using SPS modified pistols with a docter sight, I'd love to know what kind of mounting plate is being used. Cheers
  15. Hi boynty77, I need to know if the sight can mount on the Rescomp versa mount on itself, or by using a mounting plate. Thanks for the help, though, the first place I'd order from if needed is Optics planet. Great service, great products.
  16. Hi everyone, Does anybody know whether the RHT Versa Mount requires a mounting plate to work with the docter sight? http://www.opticsplanet.net/docter-mount-f...type-rails.html http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/pro...?p=19647&s= Cheers!
  17. Hi Sam, Thanks for the tip. Nearly purchased one through Ebay, but I think I'll take your advice and wait to see some sort of certification. Anyway, if you hear anything, let me know. Chris, I'll pay for your dinner with the teller if you find one Thanks for the help. Happy holidays.
  18. Hello, As some of you may or may not now, the new Presidential Dollar Coin project started on Feburary 15th. The first coin that was released, George Washington. I'm looking for some coins in the series that lack the "In God We Trust" mark on their sides. I reside overseas, so any help would be appreciated. Cheers!
  19. Speaking of which....Had the chance to finally make a mount the way I wanted for my modified, using a local machinist/carver/engraver. Gave him the dawson mount, described and showed him exactly what I wanted. The mount was made from stainless steel(whole piece), makes the pistol a bit heavier than usual but it shoots and performs like a dream. Had the chance to practice with it, a day prior to my car accident(haven't shot since...). Since I'm still recovering, will take some time before I head back to the range.
