I shoot any Eagle in 40. I can get it to recoil less than 9mm. Great gun. Pass on the 9mm and get one in 40.

Dustin, Are the slides hand fitted or are they belt sanded?

IDPA Target - 5 for 5 100yrds 45acp Kimber Team Match II ( man what a lucky Day ) 2 of the best shots I saw were when I was shooting rifle and my dad purposely shot my target stand leg at 100yrds with a ruger vacaro 44 mag. The I called luck and he hit the other leg too . He framed the gun after that.

Buy the Tactical just rub the front of the barrel on the concrete to get rid of 1k of barrel. Call Chuck at Shooters Connection and ask him the length of the dust cover. I looked at that sometime ago. Even had a guy to mill the barrel but went with the eagle instead. I have since then bought a CDP pistol in 4.25 and the Balance is greatly different than the eagle. I wish I bought it in 40 instead of 45.

Or get a STI Eagle - in 40. Then you can do USPSA too major or minor limited or limited 10

One up the marauder in 40. The rail is IDPA legal - I had a friend just talking to Chuck at Shooters Connection about this. The gun is also a limited run. They built it specially for SC. It was meant to be able to be use in Three events, USPSA, Three Gun and IDPA. I beleive the measurement on the rail is 2.75 which is 1/2 inch shorter than allow so you have plenty of room. The gun already comes with a 100 fiber optic front s you are good and also with a Tactical magwell. You may want to replace the magrelease button ( But not needed) I just like one that is filed so your thumb does not slip. I run a STI Eagle in IDPA 13lb recoil spring 180 grain Extreme HP 4.0 grain of HP38 1.145 AOL Produces - 133PF Shoots very accurate and no recoil. Bridgeville RIFLE and Pistol Club IDPA Assistant MD

Can you mount a slide racker on the trubor or have one milled in?

Seems for power - you will need to push a 115 @ 1485 124 @ 1375 147 @ 1160 However, I would think the 147 would be a compressed load. And of course finding something that shoots flat. In a very limited powder market ( meaning hard to find any )

Kneelingatlas, I am assuming 124 is heavy for a open gun or are you saying a 147? As most I know are shooting 115. In my knowledge the lighter bullets create more gas. Just asking because I am new at this. offer still stands for your pistol. hahahahah

Hello All, I am getting closer to that turn to the dark side. Wanted to get some more thought on rigs and what it is boiling down to. Rig - Double Alpha - Race Master Magnetic Holster ( I can use this for limited and limited 10 also ) Double Alpha Race Master Mag pouch Double Alpha Hich Touque Belt Gun - STI Trubor or STI Match Master ( 9mm Major ) I really like the way the shorter gun points and balance just wondering the snappy difference. I will purchase a 90 degree mount, slide racker and a *thumb rest [generic]*. Please keep in mind when helping I will be shooting other sports with open sights Currently Shooting a STI Eagle and a Fusion Grand Sport 4.25" ( Just for the record I do not recommend any build from Bob Serva @ Fusion Firearms ) So is it shorty or full size??????? I have seen some offers and people are asking more than a stock STI is worth new with no option. I do have my eye still on one used gun. Just waiting to see. The end of your draw seems rough - a lot of bouncing in it on the final extension. My guess your sights are bouncing too.

How about cdp? I have to take a pic of my ESP - I have however, ran this one in ESP.

The good thing about a glock is parts are cheap and very upgradable for prices that won't break the bank.

I reload mine until the primer fall out of the pockets. LOL...... But they are not major. hahahaha ( Sorry felt left out. ) However, that is still good 7-8 load per case.
