  1. I have my first 3 gun match next weekend and have my gear covered. My Son decided he wanted to shoot as well but I have no extra shotgun caddies for him. The Match is this saturday and I don't think I can have any shipped in time. Any suggestions on what he could use? It's a Polar Match so I'm sure we will be bundled up pretty warm with tons of clothes. Look forward to any advice.
  2. Yea thats a good one. I feel like I have a gold mine in the garage right now. The bad thing is it makes it harder for us normal folks to get some of this stuff cause the PIGS are hoarding and selling for huge profits. So if I have reloading supplies that I've bought over the years, I'm a hoarder? And I'm a PIG if people go overboard and get into a bidding war over my auctions, and pay much more than it's actually worth? Pretty sure if someone (seller) puts the starting bid on 1000 primers at 100.00 YES...A PIG Take a look at some of the posts or auctions on 1000 primers. Funny, one guy says his re-seller says we wont see primers for over a year.....I'd like that crystal ball
  3. Yes, I'm sure I spelled it wrong Anyone using these in small pistol or small rifle? Anything good or bad about them? I'd like to use them in 9mm as well as 223 Thanks Guys

  6. Hey SIS...how long is your spring? I have the same setup as you and can only seem to get 9 in the tube
  7. Give this a try in your XDM 5.25 9mm 3.3-3.4 gr Titegroup Win small pistol primers Montana Gold 147 CMJ 1.145 OAL Mixed brass Pure joy and accurate!! My 5.25 did best with the 3.3 titegroup. I got one single hole with 10 rounds at 15 yards offhand. For some reason my wifes XDM likes 3.4 gr Hope you find it does the same for you. I know several guys that shoot that load and love it.
  8. So, Colt CRP-18 Shooters and reloaders. What loads have you found that work well or very well out of your CRP-18. I've been using 55gr Vmax with 25 gr H335 and getting pretty decent groups at 100 yards. Was looking for any other feedback on loads. 223 bullets are scarce and I want to find different combo's I tried some Fed 55 gr FMJ BT w/c and they are so-so accuracy wise. Was thinking of trying some ballistic tips in the 55gr range but want some confirmations first. What about the sierra 52 gr hpbt. Thanks
  9. Awesome info guys. I got some dummy rounds on the way so I can practice this stuff. If they would ever get here!
  10. New to the Benelli M2 and for some reason the manual does not seem to stick in my brain! What load procedure do you use if you own the M2. Clicking that little silver button with the red dot on it seems a pain in the arse. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. I.E Bolt home hammer cocked. Gun on safe. Load the mag, pull the bolt back and release...no round chambered. Do the same as above but before racking the bolt, hit the silver button with red dot then rack bolt...All good. Am I dense, or is there a better way?
  11. FYI Got a deal or I think it was at Dunhams. Federal 1 1/8 3 dram Case of 250 for 54.00 Man they hit hard too
  12. I did this mod and I can fly thru the brass once I get the rhythm down. I used surgical tube instead of a spring. I mean this is fast Not my idea or video....
  13. I have a stupid question. Say at powder valley you want to place a back order. Do you pay in advance or when the order is filled? What places if any only charges your CC once they have the item in stock and it's ready to ship to you Thanks
  14. Got some winchester WinLite 1 OZ slugs 1200 FPS Rifled hollow points. Cost me a buck each. I put 5 shots in a 2 inch circle at 50 yards. I think I could of done better but I was not using the bags, just resting the forearm on the bench. I was pretty happy it shot right where I was aiming. POI was right at POA so I was pumped. I know they are not the cheeps, but I may pick up a hundred or so for now?? I also want to try those Fiocchi's Jesse talked about. I hate paying hazmat fees The only thing I see being a pain in the arse is taking that clamp off to clean etc. I may try shooting it again with the clamp off, then re-install and see if it still shoot s the same it did the first time out. Joe
  15. Swell. I'll use the range low recoil Winchesters to start. I think I just need to be patient and get the flocchi and then go from there.
  16. Thanks Jesse JUst came home from the local gander mountain and bought some Federal slugs. Have no clue what they are but they were dirt cheap. 3.99 for 5 Federal Premium 1 oz truball rifled slugs. All this means nothing to me I'll send them downrange in a bit and see. Yikes, just noticed these are not low recoil. 1600 fps...Ouuuccchhh
  17. Thanks Jesse I have to find someplace around here that has them. Worst case is I'll order some and just hold off shooting it. Hard to do with a new toy Joe
  18. Not sure what choke I'm going to start with. Open to suggestions
  19. I think I'm going to back the tube out 1/4 turn then tighten like WFB recomends. When you say short end of the allen key, I assume you mean the short end is in your fingers right? Thanks so far for all the help
  20. Sorry Guys Did a search and found the answer
  21. Is there anything I need to be careful with when loading bulk mixed brass for my AR-15 Most if not all is lake city but there is also acc and pmc. Just looking for basic blasting 3 gun ammo. My plan is to use 55 gr bullets with 24.5 gr of H335 and win small rifle primers. Most will be FMJ but I have some 55 gr vmax as well. Thanks Guys Joe
