  1. Try 3.3 gr of titegroup..Bet you will be real happy
  2. I'm wondering the same thing. When you tightened yours can you give a guesstimation on how hard you tightened the bolts? I think I'll make it to the indoor 50 yard range tomorrow. Now I have to find some slugs. Found some breneke (sp) home defense slugs but didnt buy.
  3. Benelli M2 24" I got the Nordic +6 mag extension and the mag clamp. I see the clamp could cause some issues with slugs. I guess I will have to shoot some and see what happens. My questions are: How tight do you torque the screws that hold the clamp to the barrel and mag. I put some rubber backing so it wont slide. As far as shooting slugs, never had the need to use slugs (new to 3 gun) any suggestions on what slugs to use? what range should I try to see where it hits with the slugs. Somewhere down the line I plan on using a burris speed bead I think. I'd also be interested to see what others are doing if the slugs are hitting way off base from POA. I know if im hitting high I can use a taller front sight but does that mess with your birdshot or buckshot shots? Also got a little bigger bolt handle and a hiviz bead up front. Look forward to any feedback Thanks Joe
  4. Boxerglocker Question, do you have the sizing die in station one do all the sizing? If so, how do you set up the rt1200 trimmer F/L die? I want to clean up my necks and size on station one (in case of dents in neck) Then I have the rt1200 die do the rest of the sizing to get it sized fully. I'd be interested in how you have your size dies set up.
  5. I'm in the same boat. I want to expand the necks after I run them thru the trim/size die. Just back the sizer out enough where the case does not get sized just the ball goes thru the necks? I can't imagaine that ball changes the length of the case? Not sure which way to do it? I see guys here F/L sizing before the trim station? Why would you want to re-expand the neck after it gets properly sized in the trim die? Leaving the neck after the trim die will give you very good neck tension, which will help prevent setback, a problem that most don't even know is happening. We check for setback when reloading pistol ammo, but not so much with rifle, setback can cause all kinds of problems. Re-sizing the neck after the Dillon trim die can also cause inconsistent lengths. best is to not do any sizing after the trim die. If you are having trouble shaving bullets (non-boat tail bullets) all you have to do is just put a small bell on the case mouth, just enough to let the bullet smoothly enter the case, and then after seating you will need to remove the bell with a slight crimp. JMHO... jj Good info, thanks a million.
  6. I love mine and the customer service is best ever.
  7. This is sick...I cant find any anyplace! ughhhhhh
  8. Same here. Should we start another thread?

  10. I have no plans to lighten the bolt. Thanks for the info so far guys Joe
  11. Just got the M2 for Christmas and I'll start gathering up some ammo to practice. Maybe shoot some skeet and some steel targets. It's a 24" M2 and hopefully by next week my Nordic extension will be here as well as a few goodies. What's the lightest loads that the M2 will function reliably? The M2 is new to me so I know I have to play a bit but would like a starting point. You always see those deals at gander mtn for el cheapo fed loads.
  12. Did you try that titegroup load. If not, I'd be careful. The Hodgdon site list 3.6 as a max load and you said you loaded 3.8. Where did you get that info from? Be safe
  13. Yup, and then gone the next day. Best bet is to watch them all everyday. I got lucky at nachez the other day and got 1000 next day they had zilch!
  14. Found one...What a concept......found it at the Nordic site.
  15. I'm trying to find the +6 Nordic extension for my 24" Benelli M2 Can't seem to find a thing in stock anyplace. Any suggestions on who might have one? This is making me nervous!
  16. Good thread so far. I'll be getting a Dillon trimmer as well and I think I will setup a different toolhead for my 650. All once fired LC brass I was thinking deprime, run thru sizer/trimmer then once last time thru another (redding) sizing die backed out to just run the button thru the neck. Not sure if it matters if I run it thru the redding first or last but I figured last might clean up any burrs etc. I could do all this on one toolhead, then set up another toolhead for the loading process. The only thing I'm trying to avoid is running the brass thru too many sizing operations. I'm all ears to changes. Oh yea, I have to swage them as well someplace in the process. Just picked up 5000 once fired LC brass at a deal. Not cleaned nothing. Gave me an excuse to buy a few more goodies. Trimmer, new (big) Dillon tumbler. Let the fun begin
  17. 3.3 Titegroup makes it for me with a MG 147
  18. Local Gander Mountain by my house had one yesterday...All black. 586- 247-9900 utica mich
  19. Too late, already have it. I will say I have a hard time turning those windage and elev screws...they seem pretty stiff....for now that is. I've been pretty happy so far. Over 2K rounds and not a hitch yet I will after reading this put a witness mark on those screws and keep an eye on them. One bad thing, our club has a low light shoot tonight and that thing is not easy to pick up in the dark. I still need to get this baby mastered for sure. I just need to work on my indexing more I guess. I could always use the kimber with the laser
  20. Awesome info guys Good call on the one piece tubes. I'll keep my eyes open for that one
  21. The Wife caved and told me what I'm getting......Benelli M2 24" Now, I gotta start shopping for the goodies to go with it. Will be using for 3 Gun so I'm thinking a Nordic Mag extension, not sure on size? Any other recommendations as far as what to get. I'd like to trick it out a little at a time so it does not hurt the wallet all at once As I get older my vision is getting worse. I'd like to get something hi viz on the front bead. Pretty sure I'll shoot open cause I like the red dot on my pistol. I hate having to wear my readers just to see the sights (then the target is gone) Looking for suggestions from the presbyopia guys as far as the sight etc. I'm all ears guys. Dang, wish I could go play with it now. She told me but won't let me open the Box till the 25th Thanks in advance Joe
  22. I just clipped the little spring under the shell plate that has the silver bearing/ball on top of it. Works like a charm now. Make sure you get yourself an extra spring in case you clip too much. If I recall, I clipped almost half of it off. Just clip a little at a time. Stop when you find the shell plate not popping into place real hard.
