    I appreciate the craftsman and skilled tradesmen that come to my house when I am in need. To be honest, I am not the Mr. Fix-it type and almost never have been able to do-it-myself. My father told me long ago, sometimes you pay to have people do what they are good at. It will cost you more in mistakes and your own time in the long run. As long as the estimates are honest, and the work is quality, I would never complain, and I would especially never "Not Pay".

    You are right. Guns are just a polarizing topic that I don't think will ever be part of the mainstream reality like golf is. And yes, golf is horrible to watch, but it is not a threatening sport. Unless you die from boredom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    But unless the format changes, it would be boring to watch on tv. The pro-am is a tv friendly setup, but unless there was a new way for viewers to follow the action closer, I couldn't see there being much interest other than us. Just my .02. I don't think it is a target shape thing. Unless you are engaged in the sport, others can't relate to the excitement or challenge, or just don't care cause they hate guns.

    I had a similar hammer on an Edge. When dry fire practice, rack the slide and pull the trigger. It never occurred to me to cock the hammer back on that or my 1911 manually when dry firing.

    The game is important. I would hate for my primary to go down and not be able to locate replacement parts. The more and more I think about it, I think a backup is required. Lol. Maybe a regular stock 2 as a backup to an xtreme if I can find one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    BayouGump, I have followed your Tanfo addiction on this forum for a while..... you do have a problem, but it could possibly be the best one to have IMO.

    That is very insightful! Thank you for taking the time to share that. I do not shoot tons of matches, but am nervous about a break down in the middle of a match. Heck with my Glocks I have every part needed to replace anything that is broken (except the slide, frame and barrel). qq, are you using snap caps for dry fire practice or are they not required for the Stock II?

    What is the round count with mag extensions/base pads you guys are seeing on these? How is it comparing to a 2011? I think its a great idea to be able to compete with a limited and production setup that is very similar. Are guys using these for Limited or are they going to the Limited Pro?

    So I have been looking moving into a Stock II from the world of Glocks. I have read a bunch of posts on here about people buying two of them. One serving as a back-up for matches, it is also used as the dry fire gun. Do the Stock II's go down that frequently that I should worry about buying two of them? I am not a gunsmith and some of the disassembly and reassembly video's have scared the crap out of me. Can some of you that have covered to the dark side please advise? Thanks, Matt

    Hey everyone! I have been a member here since 2012. I have benefitted from the information everyone has shared over the years, and thought I would introduce myself. I live in Sin City and do not shoot nearly as much as I have in the past. But the news and info about the sport and the gear holds me over until I can get back on the horse and shoot a few matches.
