  1. Caleb Higby, great shooter, great guy! His partner, his father.
  2. One of the company's owners is a world class revolver shooter, and he performs more than adequate testing to ensure that every product they design and manufacture will perform as intended. Buy with confidence! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Another vote for Stuart at CZ Custom, he's the man to get good advice from so you can make a well informed decision. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Another vote for the Dan Wesson! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Ben is the best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Dremel the follower down so that it doesn't make contact with the slide stop. Very easy to do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Since you're accustomed to iron sights, I suggest you stay with irons. You can go 9 Minor and stay more accurate so you don't suffer the points loss. Or, go 40 Major, and push the speed. With the right load, 40 is Awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I wipe my lense between each stage with a microfiber cloth, then clean it when back on the bench. There are many cleaners that work, vinegar, degreaser, even a little lime & scale on a Q-tip will do the trick. I've been using these methods for years without damage or fogging of the glass. The glass will outlive the rest of the scope. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I have a Steelmaster and like it. I did a sub 2# trigger job, cleaned up a few things, and I have been consistently running Steel Challenge in the 110's. I load my own rounds using typical slow Open powders, Autocomp, VV, etc. I do like the shorty for steel and minor loads. Run a full size for Major in USPSA. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I can only speak for the SVI in .40 S&W Sight Tacker, as I have. Great guns, fantastic build quality, super-accurate, flat shooters, and nothing better for pride of ownership. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. 1.230". You can shorten by .005 to .010 for JHP's. Check your spring and follower for proper angle and tilt. I have used Grams with great success. I run 8-9# springs. I have run for years without failures. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. That's all the right parts. If you build it right, it'll be a great gun.
  13. I have 2 Steelmasters, both had ejection problems, but not anymore because each now has: Aftec extractor, polished internals, horizontal scope mount, full length guide rod, and 7# recoil spring. Now they run flawless, fast and with great confidence!
