  1. Congrats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Pretty sad. I specifically chose them after months of discussions and searching for a very unique pistol. They completely botched it. Before I write a completely new thread I have to give them an opportunity to fix it. On Wednesday we will know if they are open to making it right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I have a need to discuss some faulty Briley parts as well, if you find someone with some authority, I'd love to find out who you talked to? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I like that, nice one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Yes Glenn is a good dude and I ultimately want a custom piece from him. I just need a barrel threaded and a shroud installed. Something I don't want to pay shipping on. I've got to hit a bonus or 3 before he and I can get down to business. However Glenn Rasch is a great dude and a great custom gunsmith. He's in spring, Texas near Houston. 6. Thanks Steve and Trace Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Anyone know a reputable gunsmith in Dallas that can thread a barrel for a cone comp and fit a hat type reverse plug? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I see the HD Micro from UltraDot answers that question I just asked. Thanks Kingman. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. You like Ultradot over an Aimpoint? 1 MOA per click fine enough for 50yd line? Or is it the tube size that's better? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Time to try out a Polymer80 or Glockstore has some sales that drop a new frame down to $75 every now and again. Common problem trying to scallop the Gen4 mag release Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Does anyone manufacture a red dot with a tombstone reticle? I know the Leupold/Gilmore one DK uses, but I'm interested to learn with the advance in optics like an Aimpoint T2 clarity but with a tombstone reticle for Bianchi Cup. Does anyone know what the majority of Bianchi competitors use nowadays? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My advice...want to get better...stop shooting a match every weekend. Shoot one match a month and dry fire and live fire to replace those other matches you would have shot at. This^^^^^^^^ Read Anderson and Stoeger books about dry fire Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It's awesome...I believe seeing your practice become improved scores is the best. Congratulations on your joinery...:-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Not to hijack the thread anymore but it wasn't the RO that called it out, some random guy stopped it and then continued his spectacle post the stoppage. She had already unbelted, packed up and was heading to car and he came over for another lecture. RO didn't seem to care and she never pulled the trigger...she caught herself and moved her feet...but it was an infraction and she got dq'ed. Point being...small infraction compared to heinous shit getting overlooked. Along someone else's point...6 hours of standing/driving/pasting for 3 minutes of shooting is just not for some people. Best post I've seen regarding this topic. I friggin love it myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Where do you typically shoot? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. She accepted it and moved on gracefully, she just never came back. My point with that is "content is just as important as delivery". Coaching might have saved a shooter, making a spectacle of someone is my answer to the op's question. Which is what we're answering? Not whether she should've been dq'ed or whether you'd like to shoot with me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Nitrides and NP3 I'm very interested in...Robar gray/silver just looks cool as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Smooth shooting rig...did you make your own holster? :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Haha lighten up guy...I have a wonderful time shooting and I've invited and brought 2 people in my 3 matches in uspsa. Don't take yourself too seriously Sargent Slaughter Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Expensive hobby, time and money. Nobody likes losing, no matter how cheap. Gear race is embarrassing to some, frankly I like kicking $5k Limited ass with a Glock 35 when it starts to rain and little dust cover baggies come out and I'm just like Gene Kelly plastic fantastic hoorah. Uspsa members are intimidating to some, my wife got got dq'ed from her first match for going 91.5 degrees left. Into a cornfield mind you, 0 danger but some ass with a 6" Brazos (cough compensator cough) halts the entire match and starts lecturing her on safety. I've seen FAR worse from experienced club leaders, AD's and flagging. Wife has never shot again...I've begged trust me, she shoots better than I do. It's complicated, stages don't memorize themselves It's all about dry fire and practice, I've only put a few thousands rounds through my gun but I've pulled the trigger 10x that. I wager some just want the endolphin rush(another Debbie Reynolds movie) Uspsa members come to shoot not to train newbies so most shoot. Not a lot of interaction, it's all about how interested the newbie is. They need to seek it out. Look how many members are on this forum? Is that indicative of the sport? Is there tv? Big money? Sponsors for everyone? Across all the shooting sports only 3gun has a tv spot. It's just not that interesting to some Just so you guys/gals know, if I were paid $100k a year forever, given 3 guns of my choice, a Dillon 1050 with Mark 7, given one of those fancy jerseys with my name on it, some bullets...I can promise you I'd get 5, you heard me, 5 people to try USPSA and stay around. :-). Happy New Year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Good choice, Other builders use SV parts, not the other way around... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. See it is confirmed 8 grains inside spec...just feels like a lot of powder...saami says 35,000...so at 26,600...I'm thinking that's safe...even 8.8 Gns is below Max...probably have to bump up my bullet weight to 155 before I can sleep at night. Anyone got a ransom rest in dallas? I like my hands Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. But I read 9major fellas going that high with 124/135 grain pills...so what's the difference on a larger 40 case? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Hodgdon website...135 grain...checked 10 different times because that's a lot of powder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
