  1. Upside down cases are the reason I want to try this. I get maybe 1 in 400 but I want to try and eliminate the problem. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all.
  2. I want to attach my case feeder to the wall for better support. Any simple ideas or pictures would be appreciated.
  3. https://youtu.be/RTEZtsDO4a8 I made a video on you tube that explains how I clean my brass and separate the pins. I cut the bottom out of the separator and fixed the hinges with some wire ties. Going on 4 yrs with no problems.
  4. https://youtu.be/RTEZtsDO4a8 I made a video on you tube that explains how I clean my brass and separate the pins.
  5. File the end of the pin to a slight chisel shape.
  6. I used a shoe polish bottle with a built in sponge on top. Cleaned it out real good with alcohol & filled it with Mobil 1. The cap keeps the sponge clean and no matter how you use it it doesn't over lube. A couple of taps on the side of the ram & its good to go.
  7. I use spp brass when I don't want to collect my brass. I use lpp mainly because it's plentiful at the range I use and they let me pick it up. As far as performance goes they feel the same to me. I load the same load in both and can't tell the difference.
  8. Shoot em. When SPP were hard to get I used SRP and couldn't tell the difference. I even fired 1 of each with no load and the report was the same.
  9. No subsonic loads planned yet, just midrange supersonic with 150gr FMJBT
  10. I use a Little crow trimmer.
  11. I'm starting to load some 300 BO and have the cases trimmed and am ready to debur. The question is will my rotary tumbler with ss pins take off the case mouth burrs? When I loaded 223 in the past I always debured by hand. Anybody tried this yet?
  12. Has anybody got any info on a 200 gr bullet for 40 caliber reloads. What are the ups & downs? I have only loaded 165gr for my 40 and have the option to get some 200gr on the cheap.
  13. I don't load for friends since I blew up my 357 mag.
  14. After the haz mat charge & shipping its close to my local GS prices per lb after taxes & markup. And my local GS doesn't have any stock worth checking out.
  15. Precision Reloading has about any powder you need right now.
  16. When I need to clean the dies I pull the head and squirt brake clean up into the dies ( not the powder die) and then blow them out with air. No residue is left over & then a squirt of case lube completes the cleaning.
  17. I tried not depriming once. The old primers hold water even after you think they are dry. I discovered that when I checked a powder charge and the powder stuck to the bottom. Could have had a lot of bad loads that time.
  18. I use the paint strainer in a 5 gal bucket with the bottom cut out of my media separator. The tumbler is dumped into the separator and with the lid closed spun a few times both ways and the pins and dirty water go into the strainer and the brass is ready for rinsing. The strainer is pulled out of the bucket and emptied back into my tumbler. Hardly ever loose any pins. You have to rattle the separator on your bucket after the spin cycle to get all the pins to drop down but it is fast & efficient.
  19. HP-38/231 doesn't work for me. Fire ball & smoke. Try Titegroup.
  20. I've had primer problems with 38 S&B. I tried swaging but it puckered the head.
  21. The strong mount gives the press a bigger foot print and much more stability.
  22. Can you post a picture? If its bent Dillon will replace it.
