LOL he gets home late from work and while his wife heats up his dinner , he reloads 50, those were 300AAC, which takes a little time and he has a routine . He now is doing 100 rounds of 9mm nightly , next 556 , then 30 carbine

Update: it now has been a few weeks since we received the 1st upgrade. My Buddy Tim has been doing 50 rounds a night, every night, (except sunday) for the past 2 weeks and he reports not a single problem I have purchased another one for my set up and look forward to using it soon. Hello fellow reloaders, it has been some time since I have been back on Brians webpage, I have been reloading over the past years with a 550b and wy buddy has the same setup. we have been reloading for 3 years with the 550's since I sold my 650 We both have the issue with the primer not picking up the primer periodically. We have been disassembling the units and cleaning, lightly sanding as Brian has recommended and we go from there on for a few thousand rounds and we are back to the problem. I saw the posting from linedock of the upgrade and I have ordered one (for now to test) but it has not arrived yet. I wanted to see if you have any more input on this that have it and your comments Attached is the photo of the newest version thanks scott

That may work great for once fired brass but I just started on 3000 brand new starline 9mm cases. I am at 600 case mark and am really getting preturbed. I use to have a XL650 and never had a problem with new 10mm starline cases expanding and releasing off the expansion bell die. Now I have a 550 and it gets really stuck sometimes. If i pull up too quick to break the stuck case, I throw some powder out. I was noticing fine brass shavings on the indexing plate around the cases. I figured the expansion bell was drawing / scraping off the brass on inside of the cases in station 2. At the 300 round case mark, I tried first recleaning around the expansion bell. At the 400 round case mark, I tried using a sponge sandpaper fine grit to buff it out. it helped for about 50 rounds. I do not have any One Shot. I do have Dillon Case Lube. Any info would be greatly Appreciated

I did end up having my original handle shorted and the stroke worked perfect for me. No extra effort on the up stroke or downstroke.I am doing 10mm and use a Lee Carbide resize /taper crimp die on the 5th stage . My bench is 35in and the press had the strong mount on it. Sadly I lost my job last june and had to sell off all my safe queens and finally my whole 650 system to keep my family a float. If I still had it I would have gladly sent you pics.

I guess I was lucky to find it on Ebay when I did. I had tried the empty case fix prior but always had to mess with it to work. I thought I would have the same problem with the kinked tubing but when the press is operated it has just the right length to straighten out and drop those pesky little guys.

Hey I just bought an primer catcher system off e bay that replaces the little bucket for $25.00 comes with a replacement flange that bolts directly onto the reloader Sweeeeeeet !

Ok< I know I haven't posted in a while but I back reloading after some time. Being a scoutmaster takes alot of your time. I have thought about this allot. I currently use a roller handle on my 650 and I haven't been happy with the long arch / stroke. The roller is great though I put the old slot machine handle back on and held it lower on the shaft and it works ok. I have a machinist friend (also a reloader) and he is willing to shorten it down for me. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this before? I figure that nothing is lost if I try it since I have the roller handle to go back on Scott

I saw in the new blue press that Dillon has a new maker doing their holsters. I picked up a Dillon LTD for a G17 and really like it. I wanted to get a G20 but now they have a new maker and the LTD is no longer there. Anyone know who the old manufacturer was? Scott

I originally tried using the new version with the spring but that was still clucky I found out that the retaind clip wouldn't work so I made the full modifications and I couldn't be happier. I've loaded over a thousand 10mm rounds now and it is a really smooth operation now.

WELL WELL, After waiting 8+ weeks, my AMEX was recredited back the money I was charged and I payed out. When I contacted AMEX on the 8th week, AMEX said they were still waiting for a response back from the merchant. I told them good luck, that was one of the problems alot of people were having with Leck's. I'm glad that I used my credit card then sending cash via money order for the order. In the meantime, I now have KKM barrels from Glockmeister in both my G20's and am up shooting. I hate having to go thru all this and I still hope Leck's gets back to the way I used to be as I heard it was. But I am glad I was finally reinbursed, one way or the other. I hope all who have posted here with problems get them resolved as well best wishes

I just removed the numbers all together but kept the +, - indicator on the face I have to say that after not reloading in awhile, I recheched everything had all the brass cleaned & ready, 8 primer tubes filled ready to go I was able to loaded up 840 rounds in what seemed like no time at all I have my press all dialed in now and it now just cranks out rounds SWEET!

Follow up; I sent Leck's a no response/ cancellation of order e-mail on Monday and it has been returned as undeliverable I Contacted AMEX and filed with them The KKM barrel I ordered from Glockmeister on Friday showed up bright and early Tuesday Morning Well at least now I can go shoot one of my G20's while I await a resolution for the other barrel I also was informed from another member of GlockTalk that Montana Gold was even warning people of the problems with Leck's I just hope things get better for everyone and that all Leck's situations get resolved for the better.

I love my G29. I find the hotter the load the easier it is to shoot. The slide seems to snap back and forth vs muzzle flip up on the slower loads. I love carrying the g29 in the summer with a 15 rd hi cap extra mag . during the winter I carry the G20. see if you can rent one and Go shoot it at a range with some different loads.

I finally got thru to order a KKM barrel for a stock lenght Glock 20 from her after calling Leck's numerous times since Dec 29 She called me on the 5th, telling me of a recent business move to a new location.and alot of personal things going on. I placed the order after being told things were getting better and that the barrel was probably in the inventory and that it would go out this week. I was charged on my Credit Card on the 8th. I figured "great",wait about 10 days from then it would show up. Nothing showed up for weeks and I never heard back. I called and E mailed Leck's on the 26th, looking to see if it had shipped and by who. If it had shipped, maybe it was lost and it needed to be tracked down. No reply I tried again on the 27th, and again on the 30th, still nothing. after reading this and other post about Lecks I called my CC company and filed a no show with them. In the meantime, I ended up ordering another KKM barrel for my other G20 from Glockmeister ..... it will be here on Tuesday

I too like the new lock nuts and the new wrench. The smaller size works soo much better than the old style. a little bit of room helps when your tighten them nuts up.
