  1. I don't want the 1x8 for the magnification, I just want that reticle.
  2. When I shot an M&P in limited I loaded to 1.155 that load worked in my son's STI and my M&P
  3. I have a Edge that I bought used, that the previous owner knew nothing about. it is a tack driver and an excellent trigger and for the last ~3 years has been perfect. Until this weekend when the left side safety broke at a sectional (of course I did not have a fitted spare, but I do now). My experience with this gun has been out standing. My son has a DVC .40 Limited. and it took a lot to get it running right. ended up sending it to atlas to get worked over. They for it running but it was another $400 on top of what the gun cost. then there were the other user fixable things 1. Front sight fell out at a sectional 2. rear sight screw broke in a class 3. extractor was worn to a nub after about 1k rounds 4. Barrel link broke at an area match after about 3k rounds (STI tech said that was a common problem. He said the TiN process made them brittle. Based on my experience I am not sure if I will ever buy another STI gun
  4. I have two RHT holsters, they are top notch
  5. It's my son's gun and he runs it as he got it. It's a pretty flat shooter as is.
  6. The ATI milsport 3-gun is a great choice for an off the shelf 3-gun rifle. great trigger, great stock, the ones I have shot have had great accuracy. my only complaint is that the rails are a bit close to the gas block and can get a bit hot during longer sessions.
  7. I've shot stages where the WSB required that the match saver be empty
  8. Is there a compact stock made for the 1301? my wife wants a shotgun, and I was hoping to stay with a gas gun for the lighter recoil. but the only gun that I can find that may fit her well is a M3k with the stock cut down.
  9. if you are shooting 3-gun the york Izaak Walton league #67 puts on great matches.
  10. you can get longer screws so you have more clearance. but if you are in production you have to watch the distance to the belt.
  11. you don't have to go very far on that limb - they are not on TV this year.
  12. At the time STI quoted six weeks to fit a new front sight. so we bought a manny dot from Brazos and fit it ourselves. that was just the beginning of the problems we had with the gun. Eventually we sent it to Atlas Gunworks to get it right.
  13. My Son's DVC Limited .40 front sight fell off during a sectional. Less than a thousand rounds through the gun at the time.
  14. they have teased via social media that it will be released at the NRA convention
  15. Vortex Just announced the 1-8 version of the strike eagle. I just sighted in my 1-6 last week. Oh well I rarely see more than 200 yards any way.
  16. you will probably get more feedback in the rifle technical section.
  17. That is what I figured, Thanks
  18. Will a short dust cover gun fit in a holster for a long dust cover gun? I have a Blade tech holster for an Edge, but I am getting a short dust cover gun in 9mm for 3-gun.
  19. The DVC 3Gun seems to have a lower rate of failure than the DVC limited. I know several folks who run the 3Gun without issues. the limited on the other hand not so much.
  20. Just finished sighting in my Strike Eagle. was ringing steel out to 300. it will work for me.
  21. if you are having a problem with a DVC send it back right away, way too many issues with mine that I suffered through. in hind sight I would have just sent it back
  22. I've never loaded with Ram shot, but crimp and velocity is where I would start my troubleshooting.
