  2. you'll need a different "station one locator" the .223 one works for 38Supercomp
  3. Just made up a name to point out that you were being rude addressing me in such a manner. Free speech isn't free.

Gator Classic was an excellent match. Stages were a little different than I'm accustomed too. They do a good job of setting up positions that force you to leave on steel. That ate me up several times. Also, I had a lot of penalties... not exactly sure what's going with that. 2014 was a fun season! Shot some good matches and some not so good matches. Learned a lot and made more friends with the shooting community. Most importantly, I've had a lot of fun and have enjoyed the whole experience! I'm excited to train over the winter and come out strong for 2015!
  7. No, Just everyone besides Eric is.... nice!
  8. By the stats, Eric have won Standard shooting at this WS shooting minor with Production gear. Why would he have to change anything to be competitive in Standard?
  9. By the stats, Eric won Standard division as well as Production at WS. Does this mean Standard division is obsolete?
  10. Eric had less rounds per mag and scored minor PF. Preliminary calculations reveal he would have won Standard Division as well as Production. That is pretty amazing.
  11. What is the last match they competed against each other in the same division? Other than that, there is no comparison. they just shot WS. if you combined the results, I'd be pretty easy to tell if Eric would have won Standard using Prod gear.
  12. So is there a way to figure out if Eric beat Nils in combined results? That would be incredible. by the above stats... Eric's match HF is 6.035 Nils match HF is 5.861 Which doesn't mean Eric beat Nils, but it could be a clue. Anyone done the stage by stage comparison yet?

well I've hit a couple live fire new par times in practice here lately. Draw to close target A zone: 0.55 sec. nothing that cool, but a neat parlor trick. Hands at sides 15yard plate rack: 2.50 sec (1.04s draw). Again nothing spectacular, but I'm showing improvement. I've never been a fan of wasting ammo on plate racks, but I'm starting to like it. I've also been working on my surrender draw. I've been able push it under 1 sec, so I'm happy about that.

I won my first Level II USPSA Match, the 2014 Illinois Section. It was a fun match, but the range was a muddy mess. The unseasonably heavy rainfall left the range surface saturated with water. Stages were interesting. Nothing really too difficult, but not hosey either. Thanks to everyone for all the support and encouragement. This year has been really incredible! I've got two weeks to prepare for my last match of the year! Continue to get better.

I took a few days off from shooting. Range closure for a IDPA match and weddings over the weekend kept me away from practice. I did load ammo and clean up my reloading bench. Finally got out to the range tonight. Felt really sharp and crisp behind the gun. I'll work on SHO/WHO and tight shot the next two days in preparation for the Illinois Section Sunday.

The Tennessee Section match was a great match. Good stages and friendly staff. I'm really happy with my 2nd day performance. I was able to come back from a poor 1st day, and finish 1st Open M, 2nd overall. Also, I'm super pumped about how Kurt E. and Pat R. finished. 1st A and 2nd B, respectively. It is really cool to see peolpe get better, then see them reap the rewards. Congratulations!. Our squad really cleaned house at the Tennessee Section. Open Champ - Chris K 1st Open M - Me 1st Open A - Kurt E 1st Open B - Garris M 2nd Open B - Pat R Open High Lady - Sloan T 2nd Limited M & 2nd Limited Overall -Steven S I'm sure I've missed something, sorry. Fun weekend!

9major will definitely work in Open. I've shot some very good stages with 9major equipment. I've also shot several 100% classifiers, both in practice and at a match. 9mm major has also given me more reliability issues than I can count. If 38 shot worse, but was more reliable, I'd still make this switch. At this point I just need a gun that will get me through major matches without stove pipes. So practice tonight was good. I went back to speed mode and really worked on going faster. I'm going to get good at this.
