Ordered yesterday, 9-14, from PD and they have shipped today with FEDEX. This is extremely fast...but I checked the site daily twice if they have anything in stock for what I wanted. And the order should be here on the 17th....great!!

    What bullets did you order?

Seems like using random sort didn’t always space the ro’s.

My question was more along the lines of scoring and using the tablet.  Squads like to have the correct shooting order on the tablet.

Interested in how people handle placing RO’s in the shooting order on the tablet.

Sign Up on PractiScore.com...  Download match to a phone...  If a squad doesn't have enough known Range Officers, we ask for one to move to that squad.

When RO's shoot in a squad, the tablets travel with the squad, so once the order is created it always stays the same...  So the tablet always shows the correct shooting order.

Using PractiScore's 'Random' sorting order will usually find an acceptable shooting order...  It isn't an unlimited random sorting order though...  It cycles through about six or eight options and then circles back through the original order again.

Precision Delta bullets have been GREAT!

Came home to find a box on my doorstep. Wet and half of the bullets missing.  No fault to Precision Delta bullets the box was double taped. Ginger contacted me follow up to see how my experience was and if I would respond.  Ginger said my order will be reshipped.

How are you purchasing bullets from Precision Delta?

*DUE TO AN UNUSUALLY HIGH VOLUME OF ORDERS, PLEASE ALLOW FOR EXTENDED ORDER PROCESSING TIMES*I

I see the above note on their site, but no "Order" button...  There is a 'Save to Wishlist' button.

  4. Anyone had any luck buying Berry's plated bullets lately?

They used to go on sale every once in a while, but haven't seen any now for months...  Not sure if they don't make them anymore or if they get sold out in 5 minutes when they are available.

  5. I have always shot 15 rounds over the chrono...  The 15 round average is a good predictor of the overall load power factor...  and I can look to see how far any fliers fall from the core area...  While you can get by with chronoing three rounds (as that is all the chrono RO will fire if they all pass)...  Selecting only three rounds out of 500 rounds for a match might not give a clear picture.

Have a somewhat new Pro Chrono DLX...  It is listed as more accurate than the old model...  I don't know about that...  I bought it mainly for the Bluetooth connectivity...  Nice to link it to a tablet and get all the data...  Works well.

why I no longer have a FM9 bolt. Any other brand change it at 5-7k rounds.

I'm beginning to agree with you...  The FM9 bolt is functionally a nice bolt...  The trigger reset slope is good.

Unfortunately the small bore diameter of the FM9 bolts firing pin hole doesn't allow the use of standard AR9 firing pin springs...   Not sure why that decision was made...  The smaller diameter of the FM9 firing pin spring is unique to the FM9 bolt.

At 1500 rounds you should be on your 3ed firing pin spring.

You change your FM9 firing pin spring every 500 rounds?

I'm used to CMMG firing pin springs lasting over 2000 rounds...  The FM9 firing pin springs use a smaller diameter wire...  Maybe they don't last as long as I was expecting...  I can't believe no one has mentioned this firing pin spring issue on an FM9 bolt before.

I have them created with 10 open spots and 2 reserved.  I need to know how to get the names into the reserved spots for certain people rather than taking up one of the 10 open spots in each squad.

Find the match in PractriScore.com and click 'Approve/View Shooters' button.

    Click 'Expand All' button

Click 'Edit Shooter Details' on the shooter you want to change...  Change the name to suit.

What about the spring?  I would replace the spring and see what is does.  Shooting PCC, I know I have at least three extra firing pins and springs on hand.

I keep several CMMG firing pins, springs, and cotter pins available...  They fit the Tacom and Iron City bolts I have using until now.

The outside diameter of the CMMG spring is too large to fit in the FM9 bolt...  The FM9 spring is a finer diameter wire and also wound closer to shaft of the firing pin so it will slide in fine...  Seems like the FP hole in the FM9 bolt is smaller than other bolts.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

  10. I have a newish Foxtrot Mike FM9 bolt and the firing pin has started sticking...  It acts like a broken firing pin, but the firing pin itself is not broken...  After removing the bolt from the rifle, the point of the firing pin is sticking out of the hole in the front of the bolt...  Pressing on the part of the firing pin sticking through the hole pops it up and it slides out normally.

I have about 1500 rounds on the new FM9 bolt and it never missed a lick until the last two matches I shot with it...  I remove the firing pin between matches and clean the bolt and firing pin with Hoppes 9...  Same as I have done with my other bolts...  Never had this problem before.

Curious to know what could cause this and what could be different in a FM9 bolt...  Any thoughts?

I load mine the night before.  Somehow im always first in the rotation.  Why they always go with reverse alphabetical last name i'll never know.  But, im ready anyway.  My mag cleaner is a shoestring tied to a microfiber cloth.  I remove my springs after the match and store them seperately.

Because the person that sets the sort order in the tablet has a last name that starts with "A" or "B"...

I load my mags at the range before ther match and unload them after the match.

  12. What is the value of the "What If" option in PractiScore.com results?

Thought it would be similar to the "Edit Scores" option in PractiScore Competitor, but it doesn't seem to be the case.
