Nice, I have a wheelgun that I am certain would make major though also.
  2. I am using both in My STI, with no problems. Though I am using arondono(SP) springs and followers.
  3. I am going to try the duracoat from lauer custom next weekend. I will let you know how that goes as well. I have $58 in two colors, parkerizing solution, and stripper. They actually have good instructions on their website.
  4. Thanks Big Dave If I can get back into the swing of things I might be there next year.
  5. My question. How is she still dry?
  6. Thanks for keeping us updated. If you would not mind could you forward or post scores for Tom Langely, he is one of my friend from MD. Thanks in advance.
  7. all I will say is. It is true.
  8. add Maryland to the list of states that prohibits high cap mags. I can't even purchase preban and have them sent into this state. I highly doubt they will drop that.
  9. which version are you using, and how do you like it. The Ti comps have crossed my mind.
  10. I would think it would depend on how your dominance is. I would also think to try it once and see if it would work for you, what works for some does not work for others. But I am not a pro, just lending a thought.
  11. I normally drop a few drops of FP10 oil in my comp ports at the end of practice and run a mag full of JHP's major loads through it. This seems to work well for me. I agree it has something to do with the heat from running it, then the JHP's and the oil just kinda force the lead out. I use almost nothing but lead for practice.
  12. I will have to time myself this weekend to get an accurate count. I do know on my SDB that I just leave set up for supers I can outload my 550B.
  13. Well I am new to this forum, have been out of shooting for about 10 years or so. The only problems I ever had were on the first batch of aluminum frame para's before they made steel. At that time we were all still shooting 135's or 155's and It got beat to heck within 20k. At that time Para replaced it with a steel frame. The other was a Caspian High Cap when the First Gen ones of those came out. It cracked at the cut for the ramped barrel. That gun saw nothing but 124's. Bot the slides were still in good shape. Though I do have a single stack that the slide crapped out at about 75k with major loads.
