  1. Yeah I could care less about the engraving but I would love to buy the upper if it was sold seprately. The OBR barrel is a good feature but I don't want to pay out my ass for it either.
  2. Anyone have one? If so what is your opinion of it? Is there a general thought about this AR? Some of the video's of it show a really smooth flat shooting AR. http://www.laruetactical.com/costa-556
  3. I like this magazine. Seems well put together and a wide variety of topics, most interest me. Seems there no matter where you go or read they all have zombie info. I am glad they moved up from a quaterly mag too.

  5. You can try this link. The guy that makes this ammo is really good. I shoot his 308 ammo and 5.56. http://www.southwestammunition.com/category_s/59.htm
  6. I have 2 from this guy and very happy with them. http://www.rgrizzleleather.com/
  7. I forgot about the SSE, excellent choice. I am a beavertail guy, just like how it fits and my grip etc.
  8. Good advice, didn't think about the stuff you said. I found an American M2 recently for $600, went to purchase it but someone beat me to it, I then also realized it was an American and not sure if I wanted that. Now I will really take a good look at it.
  9. IMO-Just get a regular 226, it will be cheaper than TacOps, put on the sights you want, grip and buy lots of mags and ammo with the cash left over. Ton's of after market products for it and support. I like the Allround because of it's weight. Is it legal for IPSC shooting? Does it have an external extractor? Only ask cause I can't remember, but feel it is something to consider. Good luck in your purchase.
  10. It's good to get others views on this but for me I think I would just stick with one ammo for all stages, but that is just me.
  11. Maybe but I would be concerned with it causing other issues. My thoughts are the gas block, short stroking, buffer tube and weight. I need to find out what my Noveske 17" is.
  12. You clean your shotgun!!! Kidding It happens to mine too depending on the ammo I use.
  13. Well it looks like you can use Pmags with the KAC or Larue or KAC. KAC being the most expensive route.
  14. Didn't realize they didn't offer it for the 16", 18" is the only one, I wonder how come. My Noveske 17" has the IGLS though.
  15. I bought a Noveske. I went with a 17" barrel 1:8 for a build I did, it can handle lots of rounds, accurate. They make great products and barrels.
  16. Thanks- I am purchasing some now but if I remember correctly they will accept pmags now, I will double check though.
  17. Data- as far as load info, it was my friends REPR but I can ask him what we used. The rifle was better than me, meaning I was hitting what I was aiming at easily. The targets were out to 100 yards, so nothing too serious- he has taken it out to 600 without issue, not sure if he used his hand loads or factory for that. Fit and finish on it is great. The trigger was crisp, balance was easy, cycled without and FTF or FTE, it shot great with and without silencer- the silencer just seemed to make it really smooth and easy to get back on target. The option to change from semi to bolt type action is nice if your are doing precision shooting. I am a KAC guy so my plan is to get the new ECC someday very soon. He is leading me to a 16" REPR for a great all round rifle but I will hold out at this point and get a KAC. Lastly- these things run clean. I had a M6A2, I never had to clean the thing. Do you have some data? Some targets? Thoughts?
  18. I think when I try this division I will use a KAC model.
  19. I think he has it already sold- went quickly.
  20. Good info when considering the options out there. It would be nice to have access to try out a bunch before you spend money to see what you like and fit.
  21. I have shot a 20" REPR and loved it. Smooth cycling and accurate AR. It became real fun with a silencer on it. It just makes me giggle when I think about how much fun it was.
  22. I have seen and held this model- pretty nice IMO.
  23. Your post sounds a lot like my thoughts and trying to get the info and decide. Several of my friends use Citori's and have not had any issues with them. I would like to have an expensive one some day but it's not in the cards. O/U's for me are hard to shoot, but feel I should have one for clays. On the affordable side I have looked at the Citori's and FNH-their new one. But for now my cash is going else where, aka Beretta and Benelli semi-auto's.
