  1. Come and join us for this match! We will have the same squadding schedule as last year and we have something for everyone. You can shoot it all in 1 day or you can spread it over 2 days. Match Info. Entry Form. RO Information Registration Form. Get directions to the club here. Thanks and we hope to see you at the match!
  2. If I don't have some family stuff to do, I will be there. It would be kinda nice to shoot someone else's 3 Gun match where I am not also serving lunch!!
  3. I took real good care of Bill last night, so he is doing much better today. Thanks to everyone that helped us with this match! I can't say enough about the Match Sponsor, Nordic Components, for all the support and those guys can really shoot too! The staff was excellent and couldn't have had a better crew. Larry and the setup crew really worked hard and put this one over the top! Thanks to all the shooters, expecially everyone that helped us tear down and put our toys away! Cindy
  4. No magic number, I have about 10 more shooters to add to the mix and I am hoping for a few more before Friday. We would be shooting by headlights if we try to get all the Saturday/Sunday shooters through in 1 day, though. I have shot like that before and it is not pretty.
  5. Yep, Larry is right. I have the match squadded so that you guys without carts won't have such a hard time. You will shoot all of one discipline before you move on to the next one. Pistol moves to Rifle, Rifle moves to Shotgun, and Shotgun moves to Pistol, and so on... I am picking up a couple more entries each day, so any of you guys sitting on the fence, we got room, there's no late fee, so come on out and play! Cindy
  6. I like the Brownies the Henry's (Saw Custom)girls sale Men are pigs....
  7. Where did you find it for $1.56??? The lowest I have seen it today is $2.28... and that is a far cry from $4... Sorry for the thread drift! Ya'll come on down and play with us next weekend!
  8. You should be able to find them and directions at 'www.southrivergunclub.com'. We still have plenty of room in the match and we are still planning on shooting both Saturday and Sunday. I don't want anyone to have to shoot by headlights!
  9. Go out to 'www.uspsa.org' and look on the left side of the home page. Click on the bottom button, which is 'Additional Content'. Look in the list of things until you find 'Self Service Match Squadding'. Pick the Area 6 3 Gun Championship and look for your name. There is a link on that page to see the full names of competitors if you are a USPSA member. Hope that helps! Cindy
  10. I think we are planning on having multiple ways to take those long shots. The block things are going to be hay bales and we will have an area for you to go prone if you like. Of course you can shoot them off-hand too. You will have to move around in the shooting area to get all the targets, so you might wind up using all different positions
  11. Just got finished working on the USPSA self-squadding and I have added where you will start to the squad list. If you are not happy with your squad, you can move yourself using the pin that was emailed to you. If you don't have the pin any longer, just send me an email and I will get it to you.
  12. I was able to read the thread on prize distribution. We will be doing something similar to the way USPSA handles the Nationals distribution. The top "X" shooters (and the "X" will depend on the number of people in the division) will visit the prize table, then the 1st in class. Top lady and Top Junior will be in that mix somewhere, if there are at least 3 in a division. (Right now there is only one lady in the match, unless you count me and we will be in separate divisions if I shoot. There is only one Junior too.) Everyone else will be in order of finish. We could use more entries. I hope the fact that I am just now announcing prize distribution didn't keep too many of you away. The stages will be fun and it looks like the prize table will be great. We are waiving the late fee, so come on out and shoot the match! The side match will be a lot of fun and it has some great prizes!
  13. Hello everyone, I am headed for the airport again, but just to let you know, WE ARE WAIVING THE LATE ENTRY FEE. ANYONE THAT WANTS TO SHOOT SHOULD ONLY PAY THE REGULAR FEE AND WE WILL REFUND THE EXTRA IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SENT IN YOUR ENTRY! We want to have as many of you there as possible and I have plenty of slots left. I will also order a few extra match T-Shirts, so send in your entry today! As for the prize table, I am trying to decide between a complete order of finish table, or a table that gives MW and first in each class and then the rest is random draw. I have not read the other thread, but will try to get out there this weekend and read it. Hope to see you there! Cindy
  14. As Tod says, we will have those stages up very soon. We have a great match planned and Tim Ubl of Nordic Components has been working behind the scenes on the sponsors too! Tim has a great side match planned with the help of Burris Optics that will be a lot of fun and have some great prizes too. Money raised from the side match will go toward the USPSA Junior program, so make sure you go by and shoot it. We have a number of sponsors signed on for the match in addition to our match sponsor, Nordic Components, We have Nordic Components, Burris, DPMS, Sabre Defence, STI, Uniquetek, CPWSA, SUREFIRE, Safariland, CheaperThanDirt.com, GLOCK, LaRue Tactical, Mike Gibson Manufacturing, Roze Dist., Rugged Gear, Starline, Trijicon, Shooters Connection, Saw Custom, BarSto, & Atlanta Arms & Ammo. I have plenty of room for more sponsors, so if anyone else would like to help with sponsoring the match, just email me at cgnoyes@bellsouth.net. I could use a sponsor willing to donate some clay targets I have adopted the Conyers LaQuinta as our match hotel. If you want to stay in Conyers, just go to 'www.lq.com' and use the code 'GLOCK' to get the discount. For any of you coming up from Florida, you might want to stay in McDonough where you will find the usual hotel chains. Our Area Director stays at the 'Best Inn' in McDonough and it is very inexpensive there... Hope to see ya'll at the match! Cindy
  15. Sorry, work got in the way of my play time for this match. We are putting the finishing touches on the stages and they will be posted soon. No other confirmation is needed besides your cancelled check! We will probably put the squad list out on USPSA in the Self Squadding area so that everyone can see it.
  16. Look for any of your favorite hotels in Conyers, GA or Covington, GA near I-20 and you will be fine. I will get an information page together and get it posted.
  17. Linda, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and Tim. I enjoyed getting trounced by him in Sporting Clays a few years back... he is quite a shotgun shooter for those of you that don't know. Obviously, I am not...
  18. Just a bit of news for ya'll!! Nordic Components has just signed on to be our Match Sponsor! They are also going to host an AR22 sidematch free to all competitors at the match. More info as things develop, so send those apps in!! See you in November. Cindy
  19. Sorry for being so sloooow on this one. The Area 6 3 Gun will be November 7-9th at South River Gun Club. You can get an entry blank here Entry_Form__2008_A6_3Gun_V3.pdf We will have more info soon. ROs will be shooting on Friday and there will be a few Friday slots open for competitors, but most competitors will be shooting Saturday/Sunday. It's not finalized yet, but you will probably shoot 6 stages on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. Plans are to have rifle shots out to 300 yds too. More info to come! Hope to see ya'll there. PS - Roger, I will work on that Poker party place... say that fast 3 times
  20. Hey Ronnie, All you gotta do is come up with a setup crew and ROs to run them back to back and then tear down and you got a deal! PS Thanks for the education on Open shotgunning...
  21. Hello Everyone, We still have about 25 or so slots for Friday all day shooters. If anyone is interested, send your app in and we will get you squadded. Email me and let me know you are coming. I am looking forward to seeing all your smiling faces! Last I heard, the Conyers Hampton Inn still had a couple of rooms in our block. Bring lots of ammo for 'Field of Steel' too! Cindy
  22. Generally speaking the Area 6 has a squad schedule for everyone. Friday is strictly a 'shoot it all in one day' schedule. Saturday has 6 squads that shoot it all in one day, six squads that shoot it Sat Morn/Sun Morn and 6 squads that shoot it Sat Aft/Sun Morn. It has worked very well for me except for those few people that don't get their entries in soon enough and then I accomodate them if I can as people drop out of the match. I have used the USPSA online squadding system each year and it helps to let people see where the match is filling. It also keeps us out of the last minute squadding of the whole match and it has a facility for mass emailing the shooters. Cindy
  23. Hey Roger, Do you guys need me and Bill to help with this one???? I could really use another Saturday night game!! Cindy
