I saw that at Nationals in Tulsa 2 years ago. Some poor guy shooting Production with a Glock with grip tape on his slide. Suddenly he is shooting Open with a 10 round, no mag well, iron sighted pistol... I know he ran afoul of the rules but what the Hell, it was just tape. Dale

While we are talking about letting the shooters know what to expect ahead of time I am confused about how they are moved to different divisions. One of the guys I shoot with was at this match shooting Heavy Metal. He minored out on pistol ( a 45acp no less). Since he no longer met the requirements for Heavy Metal we knew he would be reassigned to another division. What I don't get is why he was moved to Tactical. He was shooting a single stack 45acp, pump 12ga. shotgun and iron sighted 308. This is about as Limited as one can get. You can guess how surprised I was to hear his name called in Tactical. He had left early and didn't check the final scores (his fault I guess) but you would think who ever made the change would have used better judgment (another example of non-3gunners running the match?). The result was one more disappointed shooter. Dale

I thought that WAS his job as president of USPSA. He had other commitments (maybe like the rest of us who needed to be on the road at that time) but at the Handgun Nats I have attended he made it a point to be there. My first Multigun Nationals and I was disappointed. Did not have the air of importance that the Handgun Nationals at Tulsa had. Some of the ROs seemed nervous around long guns. Kind of like we couldn't be trusted handling them. I have a pistol and loaded magazines on my hip but "PLEASE STAY 3 FEET BACK FROM THE LOADING TABLE". I don't know, just me maybe.

Talked to Jimmy and he said if all goes well Self Squading will be up by tomorrow. He was entering shooters when I talked to him.

Has anyone heard anything about self squading this year?

Going to try and get some tomorrow, IF they come back!!!

Range is nice but the range Greeting Crew is nicer.

Hi Guy; A friend of mine got a Benelli about a month ago and it would not hardly run. When it did he said it kicked like hell. He put one of the Wolff springs in and it has run fine since. He also said he noticed a big difference in recoil. Seems that from what he found out from other shooters we know that is the way to go. I think you are going to have a blast at the TS3-gun this year. Conney Island all the way.... Dale

I have to agree with George. I am not built to shoot shotgun ( 160 lb.s) so every advantage helps and the JP Open shotgun is by far the softest shooting shotgun I have shot (say that fast three times). I am not much on pen and paper theories but actual use and when a shotgun doesn't kick the crap out of me I am a believer.

I have looked and haven't found any information on the Vectan SP-3 powder. Any better or worse than SP-2? VV N350 is pricing me out and I am looking for something more economical.

Hi Guys; A little late on this but I had the same problem with my 38 Super Comp. Would stop just out of battery. Could pull the barrel and the round would drop freely in the chamber. Checked real close and notice that the brass was just a couple of thousands longer than the chamber. Measured the chamber and it was about .899. Checked some of my other guns (this was a new gun by the way) and they were .900 - .902. Out of frustration I reamed the chamber to .901 and have not had the problem since.... Just my experience with this....
