  1. Rarely have I heard opinions so squarely opposed to my own. Remind me to never shoot a match you are in charge of. After having read this post I felt compelled to reply but after giving it some thought I feel it is best I just say: I agree with Fullauto Shooter.
  2. May have been guilty last year but we gave Glen a break this year...
  3. The final results are posted on USPSA under Major Match Results. Hope you all enjoyed the match. Dale
  4. Whoo Hoo... You may have to wait till October to get in but I have my entry now!!! Got one from the Texas State Limited match today. Can you say JEALOUS???
  5. OK we finally got Level 2 approval and the match results are now listed under the Major Match Results. The results through today are posted. Three more stages to go.... Dale
  6. I know it is late, but just got back to the motel room. The results for the Friday shooters are posted on the local match results for RRGC (CTX03). Man it was hot... bring lots of drinks (water)!!! See you tomorrow. Dale
  7. And I believe StarBucks coffee also.... (at least that is what the last favor cost me)
  8. Set up 3 stages today. Makes 7 done and 5 to go. Damn it was hot..... Stages are looking like they will be fun.
  9. I believe Bill Powe is the man to see. Since I know he is coming.
  10. So... How did the 90 second time out work in the RO match. Too short or didnt matter????
  11. Nope, When they require empty, it means no rounds in gun period. I think it was one of the FNH shooters that got DQed at Missouri last year because there was one left in the tube.
  12. Hey Sheldon; Just checking. Depends on if you have to ground an empty shotgun or can make safe with rounds left in the tube. Benellis are a pain in the a to cycle empty... Just wanted to be prepaired in advance.
  13. Whats the rule going to be about unloading shotgun. I see in the rules (1.9.2) you cannot burn a round down range to clear the gun. Is this set in stone?
  14. Well actually he sketched them out and I programmed and run them.
  15. Hell I got a couple of ARs that could be borrowed for a match. Limited, Open or Tac Optic. Maybe even an open 1100 with a long tube... Just a thought for the toy deprived countries.
  16. Thought that myself, checked the 2nd one when I installed it and looked pretty level. Have maybe adjusted it 3 or 4 times in 6 months. Usually just checking zero (and yes it would creep a little sometimes). May just be that the vibration from the comp blast is detrimental to the aluminum bodies. Anyway after sending the first one back to C-More not really interested in spending the postage for a second opinion that "yep its broke and here is what it costs". Oh well have my back-up to my back-up poly C-More mounted for now. Looks like I need another back-up. Dale
  17. Bought a couple of aluminum CMores last year. CDNN had them for $200.00 each, seemed like a good price. Put one on my Hybrid STI, figured it would hold up better than the polymer. 6 months later it broke (in the middle of a match) at the hinge area. Sent it to CMore and was told they had never seen one break there. Also it would be $225.00 to fix. I passed. Put the second one on but it would not hold zero. Found the set screw for the windage screw not holding. Machined improperly. Fixed that. 6 months later it broke at the hinge area (same place). $400.00 later I guess I will go back to the polymer frame. Oh well live and learn..... Kind of wish there was a descent alternative...
  18. Getting a new computer with Windows 7. What needs to be done to run EzWinScore? Same settings as Vista? Dale
  19. I am confused??? I dont see what was said that would bring the last response from the moderator? Politics??? I Dont know????
  20. I had a good time at the match (weather not withstanding) and the ROs were friendly (makes a match go smoothly) and the stages made you use those bumpy things on top of your slide for a change. Over all a good match (not counting the zero on a stage...). First time to use palm, just saw one error but it got worked out in the end. Now... The only real complaint I have was at the awards presentation. I understand and do not have a problem with the minimum in a class to receive a trophy. What bothered me (and it did not affect me personally, see above) was that the shooters who won their class but did not have the minimum shooters for a trophy were passed over as if they did not compete. Now being first in a class of 5 or class of 4 is not that much difference so at least call their name and place. Just a few more seconds of time and makes the shooter feel better anyway. Just my thoughts anyway.... Dale
  21. Anyone have any luck fixing a stripped Para grip screw??? Also any idea what the thread size is? Thought I saw a tap on Midway or Brownells one time but I cant find it now.
  22. Where did you find it at Safariland? I looked there and at www.holsters.com. No luck... Dale
