  1. Nemo, Glad you liked it.....I WARNED you!!!!! I will be shooting the "Benny Blaster at A-6 as the hand is not quite ready but is getting there. But look at Squad 10 if you and the crew can do Sat AM. Sun AM. Will be glad to help you "CYFER" the stages(and shoot with you and the crew). OR if you would rather shoot with me.....I WILL be shooting the 25-2 at the Mississippi Classic(On Friday though) You and the crew are more than Welcome. I know you can do one but not the other so I'll see you and the crew at one of them. And on that ONE piece of steel........ MAN do I know what you are talking about!!!!! Sounds like the pistola is running OK!!! HOP
  2. OK Scooter, thanks for the INFO. NOW.......You and Elliot, Tony, and some of you others.....stuff some Cotton in 2 of the cylider holes and make 6 shooters out of them and come to Jackson....actually Byram, Mississippi in May.....You will have plenty of Competition(compared to normal USPSA matches). Sure wish it had not been scheduled the same as the TN 3-gun.......would have liked to see how well a junky worn out, old 625 would do against those fancy 8 shooters! Maybe next time.....and most likely in October. HOP
  3. 3 out of 4.........Pretty good!!! now the other 2 divisions????? HOP
  4. Yeah, I know many of them, and recognized the names of even more. I hope you talked Elliot and Annette into coming....They are wheelgunners. Looking good, but we can't quit!!!!!! HOP
  5. Robo will be toting a wheel gun. What about some of them CAJUN shooters......I know you talked at least 10 of them into coming and bringing a wheelgun............ HOP
  6. OK, I know you guys are home......... How'd ya'll do? You talk any of them Cajuns into the MS Classic? HOP Edit to ask.... Did Elliot shoot a 8 shot or 6? I know Tony normally shoot an 8.
  7. So Max and TT won......Even if they shot out of their NORMAL divisions...I still picked them to win!!!!! Now to find out about the other Divs. HOP
  8. Tony, Bring it to the Mississippi Classic in May and I will personally show you how to use it and everything about it.....ONLY stipulation......You have to use it in the match! Or if you would like to make some other kind of deal let me know, I think I know someone that knows what they are doing with one of them things. Hopalong
  9. Mark............... Combo Stages??????? I just happen to have some left over from the Canceled Mississippi match(USPSA rule friendly) And remember, if you should happen to use them.....Stage designer gets automatic STAGE WIN!!! let me know, you are welcome to them as it looks like NO Mississippi match anymore. HOPALONG
  10. Smithy625, Welcome aboard!!! If there are enough it is likely there will be more than 1 revolver squad. Also, like last year Nationals will be self squadding with a few exceptions so you may be able to pick your spot then. But my suggestion is to use the sheet and pick who you would like to go and dance with. Congrats on getting one, looking forward to many new and smiling faces. Hopalong Edit to add: That being said, I will more than likely be shooting Limited this year.
  11. Match Hotel is a nice hotel....a little pricey for me, but a good one(30 minutes from the range, and penty of chow close by). I stay at the Super 8 (may be a days inn) there in Byram( 5 minutes from the range).Haras help us out here. Good to have you on board, see you there! The locals are already getting ready to defend their "TURF". Hopalong Edit to add: Hmmmm.........that makes about 15........and a full month left.....those who are coming, get someone who might! Also adding: Bubber, Waltermitty????? The range is straight down I-55 from Memphis about 3 1/2 hrs if you drive like they do.....seems like there are 5 or 6 you could round up close to you..... 1 Bubber 2 Waltermitty 3 Mike Luttrell 4 Steph Luttrell 5 Firewalker 6 Double Action YOU can do it !!!!!!!
  12. Well, Got up this morning and things ached that havent ached in a while. The match was GREAT! Just what I was expecting from Lance, Berry, and the rest of the crew at NTPS.....GOOD JOB!!! Thanks to Saber Industries.....really cool stuff they got. Congrats go to Bennelli2(Jeff Crablit) Optics winner. and Tom Carpenter Irons winner. Congratulations to Rodney May......Winner of a nice new Saber Rifle(side match) To all the BE members, good to see you again. Thanks go to SHOOTER GRRL and LANCE COWELL.....for putting up with squad 6 all day....Lance I will remember all those line cutters you did not call!! To the guys on squad 6.....Greg, Jim, Rick, Rodney, Bill, Dennis, David, Dan, I had fun let's do it agian! For those who didn't make it............I wouldn't miss it next year, If I were you...I'll be there......(HE-Man next year ) HOPALONG
  13. Well I wasn't going to let the cat out of the bag.....Bit I really thought We'd see max shooting L-10 SOON. HOP
  14. Randy, I know you are in the "selling" business........but why buy when you can make! Besides.....I still use all black front, don't need that fiber optic to get in the way.(yet) HOP
  15. TOM......Sorry to hear you knew them....I live only 16 miles from Selmer.....everyone in disbelief and/or shock. Hopalong
  16. GRRL, I have been spending a little too much time in Kentucky lately............ The folks up there are a little different! See you tomorrow. HOPALONG
  17. Hey Mikey! I see you are from Georgia. Sure could use you and a wheelgun at the Mississippi Classic USPSA match in May....... I think you likely have seen that thread. But check it out anyway. AND any other wheelfunners out there in Bulldog land (Dillard comes to mind) Yes I know he's shooting Production some now. HOP
  18. Oh and Tom.......to get back on the subject. I use Millets.....All black. BUT....... The HOT setup is...... WHATEVER works best for YOU !!!!!!! HOP.......again......see my signature lines
  19. OOPS.......Let one of the GREAT secrets out of the bag O tricks. REALLY I have finally figured this stuff out. Put the sights on the target, line them up correctly and manipulate the firing mechanism until all targets are shot the correct number of times or are down. AND do a reliable, efficient reload as needed. While efficiently manuvering through the course! NOTHING TO IT!!!! HOPALONG Edit to add..........Randy, Mine are already there.
  20. Jake, That is why they call it PREDICTIONS !!!!!! Put your $$$$$$$$$ where your MOUTH is !!!!! LET'S hear it. HOP I'll stick with Tony in L-10 but did not see David Eldridge until later.....It will be a pretty good match in L-10 too. HOP
  21. Flex........ USPSA Self squadding........See Double Tap Championship. HOP
  22. I don't know why you guys are opening up the rear sight? I understand the "being able to see through them" as that is VERY important to me also. But why not thin the front sight. It will make you more accurate than with a bigger notch and fat front sight. And yes you can see the thin front sight when shooting "fast"....at least I can. But I'm not very fast........or good. Hopalong........see my signature lines,
  23. Going out on a limb here...... Open......................Max LTD........................Travis.....With Dave Sevigney a close 2nd LTD-10....................Tony Phan Production...............Bryan Williams Revolver.................Ken Spruiell SSTK......................Jack Grahm ANY one else? Was fun last year for Nationals..(I got 3 out of 5).....Let's see how we do here! HOPALONG
  24. Hi Wheel gunner!!! Many nice folks on board here. Watch out for D.Carden, and Carmoney....They will lead you astray ! Hopalong
