Sabre Defence will be co-hosting this event with NTPS again, making for one of the best tactical 3-gun events on the east coast. Last year's match had 8 stages, an awesome prize table, and amazing food, honestly! Our goal this year is to create an even better match, challenging the shooter mentally, physically, and tactically while being extremely fun. I will keep everyone posted as I get more info on the stages and sponsors. The website and match app should be updated in the next week or so as I get the information to our wonderful web hostess. Looking forward to seeing you at the range! Regards, Berry a1911operator@comcast.net www.ntps.org
  2. Hey Guys, Thanks for all of the kind words! I greatly appreciate all the shooters that came out to support the 3-Gun. A big thanks to Rick, Larry, Jeff (helping us with final scoring), Mike, Greg, Tony, and all of the guys and gals that made this match possible. Kudos to Sabre Defence for a great side match and doing a great job as the Match sponsor. Nothing like splitting $18,000+ between 61 shooter. The final results are posted at www.ntps.org/3gun We plan on making this a annual event, and hope to see all of you guys next year along with some of the guys that missed out this year. We will use the same format. The 3 divisions for next year will be: Tactical Optics, Tactical Irons, and Heavy Metal. Spread the word, we won't dissapoint!! Berry

  6. Everyone that has sent in a match app should have received a email confirmation Friday morning. If you have sent in a app and did not receive a confirmation, please email me at: a1911operator@yahoo.com or sponsor@ntps.org Prize table is looking great. We have 4 complete AR-15s several uppers and the list goes on. The revised stage and round count are: 8 Stages and approximately 290 round. The woods run area is still under construction, and will be a "suprise" stage. Feel free to email me with any questions. Berry
  7. I have got everything to the guy that does the web site. I am waiting on him! Yes it was suposed to be last Sunday. If you will email me, I can send you the drawings. They are a PPT file.
  8. There will be 3 shots at 165 on steel targets. 2 - 10" flash targets, and 1 - 6" flash targets I hope to have the stages posted by Sunday evening. Berry
  9. Hey Everyone, I just wanted to give another update regarding the NTPS Tri-Gun Challenge. We picked up our match sponsor today, Sabre Defence Industries. http://www.sabredefence.com/ They stepped up in a very big way, and will greatly improve the prize table. Please keep this in mind. The prize table will be based on the money received from entries up to 13 March. That gives two weeks to get everything to TN. The more coin I have in hand, the more loot I am able to put on the prize table. If you have any doubt as to the quality and potential of the prize table, simply ask anyone who has attended one of the TN section matches over the past 3 years. We like a lot of loot on our tables. Regards, Berry a1911operator@yahoo.com sponsor@ntps.org
  10. Hey Guys, Here is a brief update on what we have going on. We have 9 stages planned. Total round count is 301 (98 pistol, 119 rifle, 74 shotgun-shot, 10 shotgun-slugs) There are 2 stages that will utilize all 3 firearms, 2 stages utilizing pistol & rifle, 2 stages utilizing pistol & shotgun, 1 stage utilizing rifle & shotgun, 1 rifle stage, and 1 shotgun stage. This information may change slightly as the match progresses. The stage information should be posted to the NTPS Tri-Gun web site, http://www.ntps.org/trigun/ , in the next couple of weeks. The rules for the match are going to be the 2005/06 SMM3Gun rules. http://www.smm3gun.com/SMM3GRules.pdf I would like to thank Paul, Bob, and Barbara for allowing us to utilize the rules they have developed. The only noted addition is we are allowing buckshot on steel. Again, if you have any question, contact me at a1911operator@yahoo.com or sponsor@ntps.org Looking forward to seeing you guys at the match! Regards, Berry
  11. The max range will be about 175-200 yards. There will only be 5-10 shots at that range. Most of the shots will be between 10 - 50 yards, and about 10 - 20 shots at the 75 - 100 yard range.
  12. Roger, We are not trying to leave anyone out of this match. Being our first go at a 3-gun, we are trying to keep things as simple as possible from a match management stand point. I will raise your point with the group of guys that are advising us, and helping us put this match together. Maybe an Open division will be added. I will try to have an answer for you guys by Sunday. Berry
  13. Mark, Correct, no major/minor. Just be sure that what you bring will knock down the steel.
  14. I hope your right on the $125 but the Application says $150 can you confirm. Yes, the match fee is $125. We have not changed the fee on the match app yet. There are two classes, which will be determined by the rifle, Iron sights or optical sights. The pistol and shot gun will be a "limited" style gun.
