  1. In the description is says it was designed for the accu-stock, my rifle came with the hs precision stock, any idea if it will drop-in or will it need inletting also?
  2. Thanks for all the info on this optic, was really curious as to how this scope would be. PA makes good stuff but that price out was a little worrying. going to have to pick one of these up i think.
  3. Ya it was a rough match for sure, my time on can you count was like 36 seconds haha
  4. Didn't think about the timer not picking it up. Don't take this the wrong way, but..... You sound like I did back when I got my first suppressor. Running a Suppressor on a Pistol is a novelty that quickly wears-off. No offense taken, not my first can tho, and I still get "giddy" every time I put them on, same as every time I get to a three gun match or shoot something new, to me that stuff never gets old!
  5. So I usually shoot production with a .40, but decided i wanted to try out limited for a few matches. A buddy that hasn't been shooting much lately said I can shoot his SV to see if I like it. So I load up some ammo out to length and hotter to make the major PF and fit the gun, put it in a black ammo box that looks just like the one I store my production ammo in. Woke up the morning of the special classifier match at our local club, was running late and was in a rush. Grabbed all my stuff and ran out the door. Started loading mags and realized i grabbed my production ammo, called my buddy he said it would be ok. Started shooting, since the ammo was to short it would get in front of the extractor instead of slide into it, and being low power loads the recoil spring was to heavy to get the extractor to engage, causing the gun not go into battery. The only way to clear it was to drop the mag, hold the slide open and shake it till the round fell out of the chamber. This cost me 3 stages out of a 5 stage special classifier match.
  6. Ya i think that im gonna have to go that route cause i talked to the guy at dark eagle and he says he cant get one to work well with 300 win. Is that cdi bottom metal good?
  7. put a new mag spring in it, and cleaned the hell out of the whole gun and it did nothing to alleviate the issue.
  8. Are Suppressors allowed in steel challenge on a open rim-fire gun? Thanks
  9. All i have do is hit the bolt release and it chambers the round perfectly. the Round comes all the way out of the mag tube and just sits on the lifter.
  10. So i have the 110 fcp-hs in 300 win, that has the flush fit mags will these mags work for that?
  11. i like the idea of hand warmers in the magwel(im in Montana) and a we have a couple of winter "fun" matches that can be super miserable. Last year one was 22 degrees with a -5 wind chill and snowing. we still shot but it wasnt what i would call fun.
  12. Shot 2 stages with target like this at our club special classifier. Was trying out limited for the first time, shot the heads the first stage and the bodies the second one. First stage had one ns hit in the upper shoulder, on the second stage shot it clean in the body, my times and hit factors were similar, with the body shots just edging out the head shots. so i think either way the both require precision shots so its a toss up. Had a GM open and a Master Limited shooter in my squad and they both shot body, the limited guy had 2 ns hits the gm shot it clean.
  13. The 870 is buy far the best bang for your buck! been shooting one for years, they dont break and dont malfunction. While not the favored gun for skeet you will fine with it, just shuck it fast! Good luck and have fun.
  14. I shoot a sx2 for my 3 gun shotgun. It runs great except when it come to the last round in the magazine tube. About 50% of the time, the last shell will come fully out of the magazine tube and then stick on the lifter and not chamber. I tried lube and new mag springs, anyone have suggestions because this has cost me a few clays and almost a couple DQ's. Thanks
  15. im all for it, and wish our local matches would have more of it. makes it interesting and keeps you thinking.
  16. Definitely stick with it and really focus on form!
  17. i really like this stuff called spark from advocare. the company sucks (giant pyramid scheme) that product is really good! Gives you the perfect boost and no jitters. the strawberry-mango and watermelon are the good flavors. http://www.advocare.com/products/active/A2094.aspx
  18. I need your USPSA # and division. A75842 - Production
  19. Can i join this race, Really wanting A class in production and this might be/hopefully is what i need.
  20. pitching the gun slightly in your hand is perfectly fine, your finger coming off the frame isnt that big of deal as long as you stay off the trigger. just practice the technique and make sure you are safe.
  21. no but definitely got some funny looks from the neighbors. we have a cnc router at work, cut them with that out of dibond that a buddy had laying around
  22. Have been doing that quite a bit for that very reason, its not a terrible transition, i have shot 1911's since i was a kid(dad was and still is against striker fired guns, thought he was going to disown me when i bought a glock!)
  23. i load 124's in my 9mm and i dont really see that big of difference either between my 9mm and the major loads im shooitng of my buddies and they make fp
