Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I showed Mike Voigt the setup at Shot Show and he said two sights therfore Open Class. Might want to call the folks at Moutning Solutions Plus they had a mount at Shot Show and with the flick of a switch it dropped to the side and out of the line of sight. I didn't see it on there web site yet but here is a link: URL=http://www.mountsplus.com/index.htm]Mounting Solutions Plus[/url][
  2. My process is similar to the way you describe right now. I use two different tool heads for this. I also use the Dillon case trimmer sounds like the same type as Girrard trimmer. I don't clean the case feeder out afterward. I just tumble the lube off the brass and it goes right back into the case feeder for primer powder bullet. I drop charges by hand though for my .308. Hope that helps.
  3. Do yourself a favor and contact Matt @ Custom Glock Racing. Matt has worked on Glocks and competed with Glocks. I am sure he'll save you lots of time and money chosing the right setup and he'll do the work right the first time. Custom Glock Website or 480-657-9700 Good luck
  4. Don't take this the wrong way but is the dot module firmly seated? When I used C-more optics the Limcat was a perfect fit. If need be you can open the hole with a round file. The arrendondo glare shields need touch up work usually not the Limcat.
  5. I use the Lee Carbide FCD in 38 Super and 40. Once of prevention theory.
  6. Forgive me for not being clear enough Zero=None or No Problems to report.
  7. He's also been using a Docter on his regular Open gun at local matches here. Works well for him he's had zero problems he told me and nothing been done to it. On the other hand one of my friends has broken three already inside 2 years.
  8. I saw this at Shot Show pretty slick. Mounting Solutions plus had a mount that with the touch of a button drop the magnifier off to the side. Really slick I must say. Well I immediatley sought out the President (Mike Voight). No shock here it's two sights. OK for open no good for Tactical Scope.
  9. Contact Speedshooters a friend of mine recentley ordered a CPMI mount from them. They seem to have the dilled and undrilled unit in stock. Otherwise aside from the companies mentioned Rescomp make an Aimpoint mount but it's two sided.
  10. During the 2004 Shot Show I had the opportunity to meet the people of Tactical Rifles. The use the AI chasis and the prices are reasonable. The offer a hell of an accuracy gaurantee. Check out the web site. I am using the Tactical Para with a break. Based on what I've seen others use aside from a the AI AW that Matt recomended there is nothing better. Except these are around $2700 rather than $5500 for the AW. Tell them I sent you. If your in Scottsdale look me up and you can try it yourself. Rob Tacticalrifles.net
  11. Your best bet is to go to this discussion: 9mm reload data
  12. Looks like the Rescomp magazines don't have the cut for the magazine release either. According to the web site it says unslotted to allow fiting to other frames. That's going to require a trip to the gunsmith. Just one more thing to consider.
  13. I am also right handed left eye dominant. Brian had posted something on this before about changing dominance. If I remember correctley he tried to change the dominance and decided that wasn't the solution. I also had this discussion with Frank Garcia his advise was the same. Just shoot the way you are. Avoid tilting your head bring the sights to your eye. If you are devolping cramps in your neck your stance is not neutral this will create more problems than you can imagine. Learn to keep both eyes open while shooting this will really help.
  14. I was speaking with Alan (Owner of Sprinco) looks like STI is using a different diameter than normal in there frames of newer guns etc. The thinking here (we believe) that there making the recoil master more proprietary by doing this SVI has not changed there dimensions. If you Sprinco doesn't drop in it may require a visit to the gunsmith. The solution is to either turn doen the plug as mentioned previously or bring the frame to normal spec. Alan is consdering offering different guide rods for STI framed guns.
  15. You might want to get in touch with Jim Shanahan Advanced Performance Shooting. Jim has repaired grips for shooters before if he can't he sell you the replacement already undercut and stippled. Might be worth the call. Here is a link to his web site: Advanced Performance Shooting
