  1. Is there anywhere besides USPSA that I can find the rules for single stack division? Maybe it's spelled out somewhere on these forums but I can't locate them. I seemed to be banned from the USPSA website in Canada I'm planning to build a new 1911 and want to be sure what I do fits the rules... Thanks!
  2. I use CCI primers exclusively and have never had any problems with them going bang. I also use a 15 pound mainspring and Limcat XL firing pin.
  3. Hey Mo, I've used Speer in the past and they're a really good bullet... No experience with the 147 TMJ though, only 40 S&W here
  4. I had trouble getting a slot as well, was refreshing screen with everything filled in and at Midnight it wouldn't accept my cc info. Finally worked after I closed internet connection and started over.
  5. Has anyone noticed a variance with titegroup depending on the altitude you shoot at? I shot a match in Cheyenne Wyoming and normally see a 174pf @ 3500 ft above sea level - 168 pf in Cheyenne at 6000 ft. 178 pf at 1880 feet above sea level.
  6. Has anyone out there ever somehow pinned the 18 round SP01 mags to only hold 10 rounds? I'm trying to stay away from 2 sets of mags if there's an easy way to pin the 18 rounders. Thanks,
  7. My bet says Manny will win Limited... He just won 4 Area matches in a row! Awesome!
  8. Hey Ara, you guys put on a great show. The stages are great and offer everyone a good challenge. I especially like stage 7...
  9. I sure hope someone from S&W is looking at these posts... I'd buy a new M&P in 9mm tomorrow but until they get their crap together the G34 is looking better all the time (I'm not a fan of Glocks either). I don't understand how tough it is to produce a quality striker that is able to pass quality control and fit the guns without some idiot at S&W filing it to fit... I could see a different striker for the 9mm and 40 S&W but for each gun??? S&W, get real!
  10. Hey TBF. Hope all is well in KCK - I sure miss it. My short time in Canada at the indoor ranges there are quite a few guys that wear respirators so I'd say go for it if you like to shoot indoors a bunch.
  11. Okay, I've tried to find posts on speer bullet use in USPSA and found none. So, does anyone have any experience with Speer bullets in 180 grain 40 S&W and/or 124 grain 38 Super loads? I've always used Zero and Montana Gold since Speer was a bit more money and am curious if the Speers would react the same as Zero's? Thanks,
  12. Tripp or Techplate get my vote. I'll use Techplate again only because I had a few flaws on my last Tripp job and Techplate has been perfect the last 4 jobs they've done. I also like the less than 2 week turn around from Techplate.
  13. Shooting the SCC for the first time this year and can't wait. Really looking forward to some warm weather and good BBQ.
  14. I would definately recommend Mannys classes to anyone looking to improve to that next level. I took a few classes from him in 2005 and got the chance to shoot with Manny quite a bit - I finally won my class at an Area match thanks to his training. What a great competitor and a great friend. Thanks EB!
  15. WOW! Wish I were going this year Oh well, Manny you might have a chance to win it since I won't be there (remember A2)
  16. Does anyone know how many differrent types of mounting hole configurations there are for the single sided scope mounts on STI open guns? I'd like a three hole configuration but cannot seem to find specs on the distance of the holes... Anybody out there know? Thanks
  17. AWESOME!!! Great info. Thank you all for the great replies and I'll definately be looking into a match if I can make it happen I'm looking forward to some great Mexican food and introducing my Son to Shamu. It should be a great trip. Thank you all again.
  18. I'm taking the Family to San Diego for a week in January - can anyone suggest a good hotel to stay at that's near the Zoo, SeaWorld and the fashion Mall?? Thanks
  19. SP2 and 125gr. Zero JHP's seem to be the ticket for me
  20. I hope to attend Area 1 in 2006 for the first time. Hope to get a group from Canada to attend.
