  1. Building them. They sell a barrel and bolt combo.
  2. Ok, I didn’t attempt to buy it. I need to generate a little revenue before I can get one. How much is shipping? What was your final cost delivered to your door? Thanks
  3. Just used my currency calculator, 318 pounds sterling works out to $425.53. I am assuming that is the currency, not absolutely certain. I am very interested in one of these as well.
  4. I contacted them last year to see if they needed staff. They said they had enough help with the Lucas team people.
  5. On the NFA lower, over insertion is stopped by the ejector, it acts as a stop for the mag. You have to remove the ejector from the lower to run the guard bolt because it is not slotted. I have been machining stops that drop in place of the ejector of the NFA lower. My NFA lower works great the the guard upper with the stop installed.
  6. Does anyone know if this will happen in 2018? If so, would it be the same time of year? I really wanted to go to the first one, but I couldn’t make it. I am trying to put tentative plans together for next year. Thanks Brian
  7. I don’t have a tremendous amount of rounds on mine, but so far, so good. I would say recoil is on par with an mpx. Definitely less than a blow back. My blow back gun is very flat, the added recoil doesn’t seem to affect my times. I think it pcc is just like any other division, get a good reliable gun and practice.
  8. Would a skeletonized upper with a blow back action be a good idea? I had thought about trying that but I was worried that I would be eating smoke and and soot.
  9. I shot a few shorties. I really like my 5" open 2011. I also like the plastic grip for weight savings. I am a fan of the the safari land holster., as long as there isn't any hot reholstering. ( Which I am not a fan of anyhow) I usually run major, or close to major in 3-gun. The extra power comes in handy for various stubborn steel targets.
  10. I am using it in a standard m4 flat top upper. My forward assist works fine. I didn't have to open up the ejection port. I don't own a side charging upper, so I don't know on that one.
  11. I put them face to face. I was wrong. There is just material removed from the side of lower lugs.
  12. Here I see the pic of a Colt pattern lower on the guard upper. I think it will take significant massaging of the feed ramp to get this to work.
  13. At a closer look, there are more differences with the guard bolt than I noticed originally. The .556 bolt is on the left. 9mm guard on right. I am pretty sure a conventional barrel extension will not work due to the differences in bolt lug pattern. The bolt face of my .556 bolt is .380" across inside. The guard bolt is .395.
  14. I tried to put my guard upper on a colt lower. With the ejector out, the bolt will not clear the feed ramp.
  15. I made one, didn't work for me. I had more dot movement. I am not a G.M. , I am sure his grip is much better than mine. I think limcat makes one.
  16. I seen this shotgun for sale at Brownells for $399 with rebate. Looked like a great deal to me!
  17. The pic I posted on Instagram is in a NFA lower.
