  1. On the website http://www.crimsontrace.com/m3gi/schedule it says the match is from 2100 - 0130. But in the "shooter info packet" pdf file, it shows 2100 - 0300. Will the match end at 130am daily, or 3am? Thanks!
  2. I'm using the Canyon Creek magwell. a little bit more money but has a more finished look. I had to do a little dremel action to make it fit, but its nice and tight.
  3. anyone have access to shoot in the dark anywhere around WA or OR in the next couple weekends?
  4. Hey Doc, they posted the stages here, it says they supply ammo for stage guns: http://www.crimsontrace.com/m3gi/stages
  5. TallGuy - did you sign up as an RO or a regular shooter? I signed up as a regular shooter yesterday, and then emailed the match contact person (Iain) to ask what else I need to do. He forwarded my email to the marketing person in charge, who then emailed me the "shooter info packet" today. We're already late in registering, so they need that info back ASAP
  6. EmanP - yes, in the Shooter Info Form (last page of the Shooter Info Packet)
  7. Hey Guys... I just signed up..super late, I know, but I probably took one of the last few slots. I already sent in my paperwork that asks what laser or light I need - do you know if they give it to you at the match, or they mail it to your house? Thanks!
  8. Hahaha I still need my uspsa base pads for when I shoot uspsa matches buddy!
  9. agggh.. The US IPSC Nationals are in September... was hoping to fit more than 16 for Standard division, which is what you get with stock base pads
  10. Does anyone know where to buy ipsc-legal "fit in the box" basepads for XDm 525 (40 caliber) The USPSA legal ones I have now from Dawson are way too big. And if I go back to stock, I will have too little rounds (and then I will need to remove the magwell) Thanks
  11. Has anyone camped at, or near the range in the past? Currently debating whether to dock our RV at the range, or at the nearest RV park which looks like its in Fruitland,ID (Neat Retreat RV Park) Thanks
  12. I havent seen anyone comment on this... Has anyone tried flash targets? The flash target would be awesome if it works with rifle hits. Its also cheap and ready-made, so you dont have to spend time making clayoreos.
  13. I also tested it by jumping around and doing cartwheels, going prone, crawling, twisting, and jangling it around holding the belt, and it hasnt fallen out
  14. I use the DOH with my STI full length dust cover - its pretty tight retention, i will use it for the ironman
  15. Last Sunday I was at the range and got hit three times! The first was on the forehead by a big blob of 45 lead. I was behind the RO, marking the hits on the clipboard. This one hurt the most. The second time was on the same darn stage, two shooters later. I was off to the side and waaay behind the RO. Got hit on the cheek! It was from another 45 caliber hitting steel. By this time my face hurt so bad but there was no blood, just welts (it turned into a scab like scratch a couple days later) An hour later, we were waaay back sitting at the tables, and i was facing the back wall, and i got hit on the leg! I seemed to be a lead magnet that day. Has anyone ever been hit by splatter multiple times in a day? This all happened to me in 3 hours!
  16. yep..thats what i end up doing ... but the tape comes off with moisture and sand/dirt getting into the sides alot
  17. Anyone know what kind of butt pad this thing has? I used an FN and it was super tacky, kept getting stuck on my shirt when mounting from port arms and when i bring it up and down to reload. I like the Benelli style - its smooth and wont snag. Also, does anyone know if they have replacement butt pads that are smaller/thinner to make the LOP shorter? (Lady shooter here) Benelli sells those for their M2 at $100 a pop! I was reallying thinking of going M2 but after seeing this I could save $1000 if I wait a month or two? hmmmm...
  18. i went for the 3/8 because : 1) more tungsten for the money 2) its heavier 3) xdm -spec springs last a lot longer than 1911 springs
  19. OMG I just spent the better half of last night trying to beat the front sight out and it wouldnt budge! I will try the dremel tomorrow, good thing I found this thread, I havent been on here for a while...
  20. I ordered a PRP ultimate trigger kit over a year ago, it came with 2 springs. I ordered another one last week.. it only came with 1! I will have to call them on Monday and ask them for the lighter one. ;
  21. I had the exact same problem when I used CLAYS, which has similar burn rates to BULLSEYE. Try using another powder - something a bit slower, and your tumbles will go away. I was using an XDM 4.5 in 9mm (it also tumbled in my cz75)
  22. I registered for both limited and tac ops...the count was only about 30 something after it went through and i went back to the registration page to see if it was full (so Im presuming it wasnt full yet, it hit 68 and got full about 3 minutes later) However, the email confirmation still says you wont know if you're on the wait list or IN, til 7 days from now. So im thinking..if I send my payment for tacops, then later find out i was just on the waiting list and gave up my slot for limited.. im screwed! what to do???
