I also was a victim of stage 10. The hug from Michele helped take the pain away somewhat. It was a great stage and I hope I get to try it again someday.
New to open gun reloading. STI Trubor in Cameron 5 inch. I have MG124JHP, vv3n38 @ 10.0gr. 1.250 COL. Dot is fairly still but power factor is 177 to 178. What is considered to high a power factor for reliability? Thanks. Searched but could not find my answer.
I will not drive 200 +/-extra miles to another event to avoid the Gator due to $40.00 increase in match fee. From central Mississippi the Gator is the closest big match other than the world famous Mississippi Classic. I also hate the price increase but is cheaper than a extra tank of gas to get to a distant match. I am part of the "Mississippi crew" but was not polled in this matter. Next week: The Great Mississippi Classic. Hope to see y'all there.
Walter, Before you reassemble the powder bar, polish it and touching surfaces . Just did mine this week with Flitz and a dremel . You will not believe how smooth and consistent it is. Gale
Walter, I have had every oversized mag button there is for my 1911 and 2011 STI. Just went to the Mitchell right side mag release on my STI and love it. Look into it. 7 weeks til the Mississippi Classic. See you then. Gale
I was having the same problem after decreasing the bell on my cases. I believe I had so little bell that the case was trying to collapse if the bullet was slightly of center. Maybe, maybe not.
