  1. Hi folks. As of this evening we have only 39 shooter slots left before we fill up the 2011 LGC. If you have plans on shooting this match get your entries in ASAP. If you have shot this match in the past you know it is great stages, people and food. Come pass a good time with us. Gary Thibodaux 2011 Match Director
  2. The 2010 Gator Classic is in the books. I have to say it was wonderful. We hope everyone had a great time. Seems like the food was good - there was none left! At this time I would like to thank the RO's and everyone who put in a great deal of unselfish time to make this match the success it seems to have become. I like to take this opportunity also to thank all of our sponsors. Match sponsors: 10-8 Tactical, Shooter's Connection, BayouShooter.com, Freedom Gun Works, Cameron's Custom, Limcat, Cajun Action Shooters, Just Shoot Me Target Stands, Springfield Armory, Brian Enos, Rudy Project, CED, GAT Bullets. Our stage sponsors were: ADCO, Bang,Inc, Bayou Bullets, Briley, Center of Mass, Clark Custom Guns, Combat Application Tools, Dawson Precision, Elec. Shooter's Protection, Glock, Gram's Engineering, Hogue, Iberia Marine/Steve Miguez, Louque's Firearms, Max's Choice, MGM Targets, Montana Gold, Plate-Tacular, ProTech/Manny Bragg, SDM Fabricating, Sierra Bullets, Sig Sauer, STI International, Thibodaux Women's Center, Warne Scope Mounts. Our contributors included:Academy Sports, Andy's Custom Guns, Bagmaster,Brownell's, Cabela's,Dillon Precision, HiViz, Otis, Power Factor Shooting, Safariland, Schuemann Barrels, Shooting Chrony, Speed-E-Rack, Starline Brass. Many thanks to all these people. They helped put together not only a great prize table for the shooters but they also helped sponsor many of our junior shooters. Please patronize these sponsors whenever possible. Gary Thibodaux Match Director
  3. I think we are full. I will know by Monday. We are going to meet next Thursday, Sept.9, to finalize the stages. I will give everybody the lowdown. I try to post info on this thread. You will also be able to go to www.lagator.org for more info. We also have more hotel info on the webpage if you are registered and don't have a place to stay yet. Jambalaya and white beans at the match on Sunday afternoon. We also will have raffle tickets for sale. We are raffling off a DPMS Lite 16 A-4, a Springfield XD-9, and a S&W 22-A. The tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The money from the raffle goes to sweetening up the prize table. Speaking of which, it looks really great this year thanks to sponsors like Brian Enos. The Gator Classic has been in existence for six years and he has never failed to sponsor us. That's loyalty - thanks Brian. That's it for now. Gary MD
  4. The 2010 Gator(aka the Boudreaux/Thibodaux Nationals)is filling up REAL fast. We only have about 70 shooter slots left. Better hurry if you are coming. Great people, great food, great place. Come pass a good time with us in cajun country. Gary Thibodaux Match Director
  5. Well the '09 Gator Classic is in the books. Seems like it went over pretty well from the forum remarks. I would like to personally thank all the shooters, sponsors, RO's, and Southern Shooting Center. I also wanted to take the time to thank Brian in the forum. Brian gives to the Gator unselfishly every year. If you want to get a look at all the sponsors of the Gator, and there are a lot of them, go to www.lagator.org. As you probably all know, Mother Nature tried to do a FUBAR with the match but we would have none of that. We were putting down hay, sand, and wood chips till all hours to keep the shooting areas safe. Every organization has a core group that goes above and beyond to take care of the little things that make the big things run smoothly. I would like to thank that core - Elliot, Annette, Forrest, Peggy, Joe, Mike, Ed, John, Bill, Guy. and anyone else that I may have forgotten to mention. I hope everyone enjoyed. Take care and God bless.
  6. The match is tentatively scheduled again for the last weekend in October. This is the end of our hurricane season and the weather usually stabalizes. Thanks for the input. Gary
  7. I am thinking of purchasing a SV Sight Tracker. I shot one briefly(12 rounds) at the Louisiana Gator Classic this past weekend. It felt good. I need info - good or bad - on this gun. This is a lot of money to put out and I want every and all responses of present and past owners of Sight Trackers. GAT
  8. I am presently shooting a 180 RN with V V N320 MPF. I am thinking of going to the 200 TC in MPF. I am considering N320 or N330. Need input. I am shooting a Briley Signature Series. GAT
