I hate I have to miss this one. It was my first large match and was an absolute blast last year. Couldn't change my tickets to Jamaica. Y'all have fun.

Those are the penalties we use. I don't ever set the disappearing targets over the top hard. Just wanted to verify that those type of targets will be scored like all the others.

My club has just switched to IMGA scoring from USPSA scoring. There has been some discussions over disappearing targets. I have finally convinced everyone that our flying clays will be a 5 second penalty for a miss and 15 for a FTE. We are still discussing clam shells and drop turners. How are they scored under IMGA or are they up to the MD or club to decide how they want them to be scored? I recently shot the Pro-Am at Rockcastle and there was at least one drop turner that I remember. I was under the impression that they were scoring it as a regular target with penalties for misses and FTE's.

What is the trajectory of the flying clays? Are they trap style going away type targets or are they vertical "teal" style like flippers?

Is anyone else getting the submitted too soon message?

I cut almost 3/4 of an inch off mine after I got my thumb hung up in the loading port. I also had my loading port opened up. I will try to post some pics. I cut mine with a hack saw and then filed off the rough edges. As long as you keep your thumb up in the port when you are weak hand loading it works fine. Yes it is a little slower, but it will work until I can save up enough for something better.

Since the lodge is all booked out where did everyone stay last year? I need to make reservations in hopes that I get in this year.

Memphis on Saturday. 6 stages, 4 using all three guns. 200 yard max rifle. Don't know the exact round count yet, but 100 rifle, 100 pistol, 75 birdshot and 10 slugs should do it. USPSA Sunday at the same range. Extremely happy to see that Henry County is back on the calendar! Good job Will. Should be a few of us from Memphis for October. That only leaves one weekend open in October without a 3 gun match. Dickson on the 1, Memphis on the 15, Henry County on the 22, and either Arkanses section match or ORPCI on the 29th. Great month!

Wow at least the guy from Henry County called you. I drove 2 hours from memphis only to have him leave 5 min. before I got there. I had to find out that the match was cancelled from some guys that were there. You are right. He was a nice guy and did a really good job of designing stages. I enjoyed shooting there. Come to Memphis. We have one on the 17th and a USPSA match on the 18th.

+1 for Gary and Owensboro Rifle and Pisol Club. I have only been to one match, but it was well worth the 5 hour drive from Memphis. I will be back to their shoots. I won't make the Oct. shoot because of the Arkansas section match. Green River Gun Club in Bowling Green, KY has some. Check their website for dates. We have a multigun match every 3rd saturday in Memphis and if you are a pistol shooter there is always a USPSA match the next day on Sunday. Memphis Sport Shooting Association is the club. A couple of our stages are usually all 3 guns and although we don't use it every match we can shoot 300 yds. We always have stuff out to 200. $12 non member. Also look at Music City Tactical Shooters in Dickson, TN. They have a few a 3 gun matches a year and some run and gun shoots as well. Henry County Gun Club in Puryear, TN was having monthly matches, but I heard that is no longer as they are looking for a new match director.

Will there be seperate divisions for major/minor or are we all grouped into one? In other words am I at a disadvantage shooting a 9mm in tac lim?

Any word on a host hotel or did I miss that part? Also I will be probably coming alone. Anyone want to split. Coming from Memphis.
