Bingo !!!! yeah... mine broke 200 rounds after my slide cuts where done. I am thinking it was there before the cuts. We have seen 10 slides with NO cuts crack in the same place mine did down here. dont know. but there sure is alot of slides breaking these days.

Thanks so much jammer I was shooting open. I really appreciate the offer but I am going to have to allocate the funds I was going to use for the trip to the repair. hotel and fuel from the mississippi gulf coast, food ammo ect. I aint broke but I am just a factory worker no deep pockets here lol.

Yeah Braxton I had the front cocking serrations removed before the slide cuts where put on. Then we cut the top for poppe holes and ball milled a nice channel. The other thing is I live on the beach in waveland ms. Dude Everything rusts here with the quickness cause of the high salt content in the air. Yeah I think it's going to get a coat today

Just got my slide machined and I can't send it off to hard chrome for a while. I have used krylon paints on bunches of rifles I am thinking of spraying the slide with some krylon. since it comes off so easy nothing but a soak in acetone over night. what yall think.

I have an older 4 hole shueman hybrid with four holes and a monster comp. this thing is so flat and soft at 175 pf i drop 10 grains of hs6 under a115 it's amazing. But it's heavy it suits me. Doesn't seem loud to me no louder than my 9 major gun. But the folks around say it's horrid

My super the gun screen right with hybrid barrel. Far exceeds my 9 major gun with the same load. I load 9.9 grains of hs6 with a115 jhp at 1.235 and it is the flattest thing I have ever shot. (175 pf)The 9 major now with the slide cut and 3 holes with 9.6 grains of hs- 6 and a 115 @ 1.165 is very flat but has a lot of pop from the higher pressure. 9 major is not for anyway with even the slightest bit of recoil sensativity. People who argue about it and say it shoots as flat as a tuned super have either a diff preference for gun handling or have never shot a really tuned 38 super before. I can't tell the number of loads I went through to get the 9 even close to my super. And I just got the super

your tellin me you can make major with 3n38 with 3 port hybrid in 9 major? i check to see what a 9 case can hold of 3n38 and 9.1-9.2 and it was FIlled. to the top. it takes 10.0 to make major in my super comp with a 3 port hybrid. interesting. 9mm shorter case... less case = less powder to push.One of my buds uses 9.? of 3n38 in his 9 major with a 3 hole shueman and makes 169. I just dont understand how people are making 170 + with less than 9 grains of hs6 with a 115. It takes my gun 9mm trubor 9.6 grains before the bbl holes to make 174. @ 1.165 with a 115

or do this like i did one frame two top ends one in super and one in 9mm. Although notice the radical slide lightening and holes in bbl. This trubor shoots VERY well set up like this with a 115 and HS-6 but i must say the super shoots better with a 115 and hs-6. maybe its the hybrid bbl

Lol jack I guess the hi should be 1492. No I just have these right now to use up. I keep spraying dillon case lube in the comp so the lead doesn't build up to bad. I wanted to make sure I like the 115 before ordering a case

I am not going to bump the 9 load back up to 175 it wont make it with the 115 and the holes the super load I am moving up to 9.9 grains
