They are wolf primers which I don't normally use but picked them up during the great shortage of '08. I had one jammed in the primer filler so that's probably it. Thanks for all of the replies! Jan

Hi All I'm having an issue with primers being pressed in sideways. I'm loading .45 ACP in an XL650. Wolf Large Pistol primers, mixed brass. I load the primers with an RF-100 auto primer filler. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jan

I always use a Lee Undersize Die and load to 1.250.

1+ for Clays...Just chrono'd 230gr LRN 3.8gr of Clays, Large pistol primers at 738FPS average= 169PF Shoot nice and accurate out of an STI USPSA single stack and a Colt Gold cup. Jan

Oh sorry... just noticed...2011. I think that Tripp only does Skinnys! Call Chuck at Shooters Connection, he'll be able to help you. Hi I'm in Jersey but I shoot USPSA out in Freeport as well. I ordered mags from tripp research. I'm going to start shooting single stack .45. Give them a call. Their mags and customer service are great and I got the stuff in a less than a couple of weeks. Hi All, Just starting to shoot single stack with a very low round count Wilson Combat full sized Tactical. I'm pretty sure Bill puts 17lb springs in them. I'm going to use reloads at just above Major PF. Should I change to a 14lb spring or just see how it runs first? Thanks, Jan
