What's wrong with the factory spring?

I use an EGW and just heated the ends slightly with a cigarette lighter and mushroomed them over.

CDNN Investments had some decent prices on factory Para mags. I haven't gotten a catalog but I think they have a website.

I've swapped in the Arredondo part and it is pretty smooth. Now though if I forget to lock the holster I fear my gun will fall out. I'll have to be careful with that. Thanks for the input.

Blade-Tech was the only manufacturer I could find. I don't think the Edge is too popular as an IDPA and/or defensive pistol.

I'm just looking to reduce my draw time by .0001 second and thought the Arredondo trigger bar might help. Anybody tried one?

I've used True Blue with good results in .40 and .357 SIG. I think it's listed as similar to HS-7 on the burn charts.

I loaded twenty rounds of .40 with 5.5 grains of Silhouette today and will try them for accuracy and velocity shortly. I'll post here, if anybody is interested.

Thanks, Herky. I'll give this a try. I'm actually going to try some Ramshot Silhouette. Western Powders says it's made for them by the same place that made WAP for Winchester and is, for all intents and purposes, the same powder.

Can anybody help me with this? I'm looking for a load that'll make major using Winchester Action Pistol and a 200-grain cast round nosed bullet. My OAL is 1.185 inches. Thanks!

I bought a Limcat Speed Holster from Limcat almost two months ago with the understanding that I could return it for a refund if I didn't like the holster. I sent it back in the first week of May and have not received a refund on my credit card. I have called and emailed Limcat a number of times and have gotten no response. Has anybody else had similar problems? I have heard good stuff about Limcat and can't understand what's happened here!

How would a soft bullet strip rifling from a barrel? I, too, have found plated bullet accuracy to be marginal at higher velocities.

I have a friend who just ordered three of the ten-rounders. I'll let ya'll know how they work and how the quality is, etc. Knowing Virgil, I'm sure these magazines will be as good as advertised.

Well, I think I'll go with the Arredondo. I tried a Limcat today at one of the local matches and I scratched the crap out of my new gun! I caught the end of the dust cover on the small lock screw that sicks out of the belt loop. That ruined my day. I also notice that the newer CR Speed has a step in it that should clear my light rail. If the Arredondo won't fit or can't be made to fit I'll give the CR Speed a try.

Old Red Dot was like burning coal in my guns. The new stuff is new and improved and is much cleaner burning. I use it mainly for trap loads. It's also great for the .45 ACP.

Both seem to be very popular. One's plastic and one's metal. Both are over $100. So which is the better rig? Thanks again to all.

I just had a limited gun built on a high capacity STI SOCOM frame. I think the weight added by the light rail should help keep the muzzle down. Anyway, I have found that this gun will not fit in my CR Speed holster and I'm wondering if something like the Limcat will work? Has anybody had experiecnce with this frame? Andrew (Tokarev)

Howdy. I just got a new STI built on a SOCOM frame and have found that it won't work with my CR Speed holster. I'm looking at either the Limcat or Xtreme. What have you found out about these two? Did anybody respond? Thanks for sharing. Andrew

I recently bought a jug of Longshot for use in the .40 and the .357 SIG. I haven't used it yet but Hodgdon promises some exceptional velocity and low pressure. If their data is true, Longshot should be an outstanding powder for the .40. Anybody tried it with a 180 grain cast bullet at major PF? Tokarev (new to the board)
