Most of the light strikes go away? Pass. I couldn't get mine to run with any factory ammo. I finally settled on Federal Small Pistol Primers, Federal brass, TK .035 moon clips, 147gr Blue Bullets, and 3.0gr of Clays powder. It runs 100 percent now.

So this is funny. I loaded up eight rounds with Winchester small pistol primers, and they all went bang the first time. My gun has a six pound trigger, and is modified internally and also has a longer firing pin. More testing is needed, but I'm happy.

Do you still have that pin inside the rebound spring slide block thingy?

Yes I've done it in my 929.

Is the ejector rod loose? It has left hand threads. I know a tractor mechanic in Phoenix that can butcher it up for you.

Anybody using Winchester small pistol primers? I can get them pretty easily, Federal Small Pistol Primers are still unobtainium. Did you need to increase the main spring? Right now my trigger pull is under six pounds. Thanks in advance.

Mine was virtually unusable from the factory. About half the time it wouldn't fire factory ammo. No idea what the trigger pull was, BECAUSE MY SCALE STOPPED AT 12 POUNDS !! I had a ton of work done on it including having the barrel cut to five inches by a tractor mechanic in Phoenix. His name rhymes with Glank Frenn. I wouldn't recommend him.
