I really like Zero bullets, but they're about $0.14 each now. I used to order them because they were cheap. Now I use RMR at $0.10.

I load 4.2 of Win 231 for my 9mm pistol, but drop down to 3.8 for my 16" AR9 with a Scheel Roller Delayed Blowback buffer system.

Sure, Angeles Shooting ranges is half way between us. Pick a day and we'll chrono some loads. I'm retired, so I'm only free on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday Just keep cramming in powder, you'll get there.

I load .38 Short Colt. However when I set up my powder measure I drop three charges into a .357 shell, and take the average. I'm using a Dillon 750 with a bullet feeder and a case feeder. I check my powder charge every 1000 our so shells. It never changes. I also check my powder charge when a change to a new bottle of the same powder.

My primers are cratered like a teenager's face, but I'm still loading the same brass after 15 times.

I can't speak for you, but I'm shooting .38 Short Colt in a gun designed for .357 magnums. When I first started shooting .38 Short Colt someone told me to start with 9mm load data, and work up from there. Except I couldn't find any 9mm load data for heavy 160gn bullets, and even when I loaded lighter bullets they didn't give me the fps I needed due to the barrel gap in my revo vs a semi auto no barrel gap. I actually started with .38 special, but couldn't get it anywhere near minor with the powders I had on hand.

But hey, load some at 1.19, 1.18, 1.17, 1.16, you'll know when they wont chamber. BUT KEEP IN MIND, THE PRESSURE GOES UP WHEN YOU SEAT DEEPER.

Not me, I seat at 1.2 and I make minor just fine. If you seat too deep you'll start bulging the case, and they won't chamber.

When you find a powder you like, buy an 8 pound jug if you can find it, maybe two. Same thing with primers, buy 10,000 if you can find them. Winchester small pistol primers are available at Target Sports USA. Federal seem to be trickling in slowly.

I load Bayou Bullets 160gr RN to 1.2 with 3 grains of Clays. I use a .357 sizer die, then a 9mm seating die and a 9mm crimp die. I found Titegroup to be way too dirty in my revo.
