  1. I know guys in their 60's, 70's, 80's that are still buying primers and ammo, and they hardly shoot because they don't have enough. I think they have a problem
  2. I run Lee 9mm dies on my 750 with Dillon lock nuts on top of the tool head. I've only loaded 2 or 20 thousand rounds thru them. So far so good.
  3. Again, why is ammo double the price, but primers are triple or quadruple?
  4. Why is ammo double what it was, but primers are three or four times?
  5. A tractor mechanic in Phoenix. His name rhymes with Glank Frenn. Hopefully he's retired by now. I had to take it to a local gunsmith in So Cal to have the tap he broke off removed. The first guy literally JB welded my front sight on.
  6. As a side note, I found the factory comp to be completely useless. No matter what ammo I used, useless.
  7. Here you go https://www.targetsportsusa.com/small-pistol-c-2807.aspx
  8. No, I shoot my 627 in ICORE. I don't shoot my 929 in anything. They're basically the same gun, but I like the 627 better. I had the barrel shortened on the 929 to five inches. 929 on top
  9. Yes and no. I know Federal Small Pistol Primers are the most sensitive, so I'm able to have a 6 pound double action trigger pull with good reliability (don't jinx me ICORE Gods). No idea why Federal brass, but it gave me the right amount of grip on my TK moon clips, and was easy to use in my BMT Mooner. On the flip side, my 627 was plug and play. I shoot it 99.99% of the time.
  10. See, in my 929 the only thing that would work reliably was Federal brass with Federal Small Pistol Primers, and TK moon clips.
  11. The only think I know about Canada of from Bob and Doug McKenzie. Take off you hoser, eh?
  12. A 627 PC is about as close as you'll get. And even then you'll probably want at least an action job.
  13. I'm not sure how you spell it, but RMR work really well for me.
  14. Mine took a long time and a lot of work to get to run right. My 627 was plug and play.
  15. Something's wrong, contact TK before you ruin something.
  16. Well, anther Arizona State Revolver Championship is in the books. Great stages, great people, and great food. Phoenix in January is known for good weather and this year was no different. Add in world class restaurants, golf courses, Indian casinos, and a pistol / revo match every weekend, and I'm home !! I always strive to finish in the top 50%, and yesterday I came in 44 / 90, so I was happy. We started on stage 5, and that was my best. By the time we worked out way around to 3, visions of BBQ lunch were dancing in my head, and it was my worst. I'm already booked for next year !!
  17. I loaded this 3 or 20 times and the damn thing split. What gives?
  18. Too tight for me. I went with the regular ones. .
  19. .38 Short Colt Starline Brass and these TK moon clips work for me https://tkcustom.com/collections/627/products/swn627x8-025-blue .
  20. Yes they do. It's a great club. Put next year's match on your schedule. You won't be sorry.
