  1. I have the Hornady LNL. If you have a hard time getting the bushing out of the bushing receptacle, then you might have to send the main press back to them. When reloading, if at any point it is harder to press than usual, dont force it. Try to check why its doing it. Hopefully you can get the bushing out. Good luck!

    TruGrip for G34

Ive used trugrip on my G34 for the last 2 years for competition and would not be without it. Yes, order one for the G17, its the same.
  3. I use the same Blade-tech DOH holster for production, and use straight drop.
  4. My experience was the same. A while ago I ran out of primers for my 9mm (this was during the period where primers were almost NON-EXISTANT) and a local shop got some in, but they limited buyers to 1,000 of each 'type' of primer. I bought 1k of SP and 1k of MagSP (the MagSP were almost $10 cheaper for some reason) hoping that the MagSP's would work out okay with my handload. Turns out, the difference between the two was barely noticeable. If anything, the MagSP's IMPROVED the accuracy of my load (by a small amount) and the only thing I noticed was a small difference in the way they sounded compared to the regular SP's. I had no pressure signs/flattened primers, no light strikes/failure to ignite, etc... In the future, I will (happily) purchase whichever variant is available, and if the MagSP's are cheaper guess which ones I will choose? BTW: The SP's were CCI500's and the MagSP's were CCI550's. -Kyle Thanks for the info, I'll try the SP mag primers if I find one.
  5. Good Luck! Like you my 2nd IDPA match was a classifier and the 3rd match was the State Championship,
  6. Fav load currently using Glock 34 for competition - MG JHP 124gr, winchester primer, 4.3gr W231, mixed brass, OAL 1.13 = 132 PF
  7. Most of the time, locking block pin should be easy to remove pushing left to right. It is the trigger pin that you need to wiggle the slide stop when removing.
  8. Thanks for posting this. I am sure this will reemphasize our respect of our reloading components and the need to be very, very careful. Glad to know you are doing well and shooting back again.
  9. I use the same bullets you have, MG 124 JHP. I have a glock 34 and have used both Winchester and Federal primers without any problems using W231 powder.
  10. Thats too much for a belt, IMHO. Just get a wilderness tactical 5 stitch.

    first Idpa

Congrats guys. You now will be always looking forward to the next monthly match.
  12. Is the inner belt legal for IDPA, especially if you wear it on major matches?
  13. First of all, congrats on your first IDPA and even more on how well you did. I participated in my first IDPA and USPSA last year and it is addicting. In where I live, I would say 20% of the shooters in my local IDPA also do the USPSA. Try it out.
