  1. You really going to shoot this time, or just watch like last match?
  2. Going to try, but not try as hard as last month. We should have at least 4 this month and hopefully more, bring your wheel gun and have some fun with us
  3. A 627 v-comp Way cool, bring it up to NC and shoot with us sometime
  4. I see BIG ED in the revo forum, did we wake up on the MAN side of the rack this morning?
  5. Anyone in the North Carolina area should come out for the DAY/NIGHT/DAY match at "The Range" in Oxford, NC,,, home of the Carolina Cup for some great night shooting
  6. International already!!!! Way to go Dean. Lets get our new USPSA National Champ Mr. Walsh up from Fl. for this one and watch he and Jerry shoot.
  7. I use a practice drill from Sam Conway's book that might help. Basically it's a warmup drill that is "Bill Drills" at 5,10,15 20, 25,30,35 yards. 6 shots on the same target timed. You can check your draw/splits and hits at the various distances and it gives you a good idea about how distance effects the shots.
  8. So what new toys did you buy Greg?
  9. Nice job. I just finished some load developement for my new ".41SS" (.41 mag cut down just below special lenght, hence 41 ss for short special). Try a 41 special for your next revo project, as I've done the load developement already and I'll gladly share my results
  10. Dean, Worked up some loads for my new .41SS round and I came up with some real winners. Might just be the new RETRO load!!!
  11. Dean, count me in for any help you need, also go check out Jerry shooting the Polish Plate Rack in the revolver forum, we must have one!!!!

    Hello

Welcome Matt and Orvon, Revo shooters are the best and please try to make it to NC in Oct 2010 for the BIG ICORE match. When all the "open" guys at USPSA matches complain about how we hold up the stages,, kindly explain to them that a 2.5-3 second reload is still faster than watching an open gun get unjammed during a stage. Revo shooters only need "6" to get the job done, then we take a little break to reload and do it again!!!
  17. Thanks WhiskeyTango, hope you can come up to NC and shoot the ICORE match in October, John
  18. Happy Birthday, and look forward to being part of the "revo squad" at next years SC Section match. The roundgunners appreciate all you do!!!
  19. Does anyone know of any company/person that makes custom speedloaders? I am working an old favorite S&W 57 into an ICORE retro gun, and the standard "HKS" speddloaders are not really the thing. Was hoping that someone might make Comp 3 style for different calibers than just .38/.357
  20. I'll add my 2 cents, I use all but AMERC in my semi's with no problem, but for my S&W 625, I find that "Rem", "Fed" and "CCI" seem to be the most consistant in my moonclips. I'd also invest about $15.00 in a case guage to make sure they all fit the chamber, BEFORE a match.
  21. Appreciate the offer. Got about 80 pieces done now and loaded up for some range testing/ chrono work, hopefully this weekend. Once I have some good data to share, I'll post it incase anyone else wants to give this a try.
  22. Been trimming on a Hornady trimmer, powered by my arm that now is too weak to hold up a 6" N- frame. Chamfer/debur on RCBS ELECTRIC case prep machine
  23. Good turnout at Sir Walter, let's try and get some revos to come out to Pitt County on the 4th Saturday, always a great match!!! Details on NC SECTION website
  24. Looks like revolver might grow!!!! To borrow a line from Mr. Buckland (I hope with his approval) Viva le REVOlution !!!
